At the moment there's unfortunately no time for live updates on the scores since I will be commentating the big screen match between Mondragon and TreK. Whether the online stream will be available or not I can not tell, please check WCG-Europe.org/SEC.
First map is Khoral of Ceres and thereafter losers pick.
We need to prepare for the commentating now and the first meeting for the first round of the tournament begins in 15 minutes. I'll get back with updates as soon as I have them and there's time over.

TreK and Mondragon just after their match.
“
- Mondragon says, laughing, after beating TreK 2-0.Round one was just finished and with that a lot of best out of three matches. Some upsets, such as Twisted - who this morning felt very secure about winning - who lost to -=ALFA=- in two straight games. Furthermore we got Androide who beat Beast two games to one and the "famous" Icanus from Croatia - suspected for not ever having played SC - did not even show up at the tournament area.
Round one featured initial slow down because of some players not bringing keyboards. It took some time for the technics team to set up a system for renting of keyboards and mice, but once it was up we could get started. The keyboards though were German ones and looked more like laptop minimization meaning you did not know where all keys where positionized. Maska refused to play on one of these so their match waited until the others had finished in order for him to borrow someone else's.
The probably most anticipated match today was between the "templars" Mondragon and TreK. I was alone doing the commentary on two very good games. "I won because I used strategy number two in the first game" says Mondragon, laughing. The other strategies - assuming there are some other ones - will not be revealed yet. TreK is dodging by claiming he was not present during the games but instead taking a picture of myself;
To tell you the truth I do not know who took the picture but it obviously wasn't me! The second game was played on Gorky Island where both players were Random. Mondragon ended up Protoss and TreK Zerg which favoured Mondragon a lot. He finished the game after something like 25 minutes of playing using corsairs and reavers. Games of tomorrow will begin earlier than today, the first meeting is 10.00 CET, when the first round of loser brackets will be played and second in winners. I took a couple of good pictures from today's opening ceremony which was neat, the GosuGamers Crew will help out to scale them and publish them all as a separate news later on today. One main thing was quite embarassing for SEC 2005 during the opening ceremony. Three main owners or CEO's of Samsung, ICM and one German company were up on the stage. They were supposed to be make the final opening by clicking a start button in front of them on a laptop and also linked to the big screens. We in the crowd all cheered and helped counting down, and as the moderating woman screamed "push" they all energetically hit the right button of the mouse, opening a windows options menu instead of pushing start. Though the fireworks and music had already begun so there was not much to redo, I do not believe they even noticed it themselves.
I am off doing some longer interviews now if I can, and I hope that I will be able to live update tomorrow. Good game!
