Night Inside Jungler, Ilya «Kreox» Grom have told us about matches in play-off series and victory in LoL Battle Arena.

What did you say to each other before the semi-final match?

We were sure we would win, so we just cheered each other up.

Did you expect Tornado Rox to give up without a fight?

As I said in the interview, RoX can hardly surprise us. And we also started playing much better in comparison with the group stage, so we were ready to defeat RoX 3-0, but due to mistakes in game 2, we managed to lose 1 map.

Were you surprised by how Hard Random and MYM played?

I was expecting a totally different outcome of that match. HR were not in their best shape and it was obvious.

Do you think that MYM have reached the final only due to HR not being in best shape right now?

I don't know, MYM have picked up Gilius, top-5 West Challenger who plays very aggressively and his playstyle has played a bad joke on HR. I have predicted HR to win 3-1, but something really serious must have happened to them.

Did the Turkish team manage to surprise you or could you easily read everything they would do?

We knew how MYM would play, but they seemed to be baffled when we did swaps/rotations.

What was the key factor of this victory? What are your strong sides?

Our players have great mechanics and game understanding, and we also can “call” well, and perhaps our strongest traits are teamfights and skirmishes, where we are mostly victorious. All these traits have helped us defeat the Turkish team.

What are your plans after victory in the first season of this league?

We will have a short break due to absence of tournaments, and then we will be back in business, preparing for the spring season of Starseries. I think we will be able to surprise everyone in the upcoming tournaments.
