Cloud 9 use superior teamplay to beat CLG even with a gold deficit. Dignitas completely control EG, LMQ dominate Complexity, and TSM snap their three game losing streak with a solid win versus Curse.

The day began with a game between the Spring split champions Cloud 9 and the rising CLG. CLG started the game by getting a 3 minute dragon and first blood onto Sneaky at 6 minutes. CLG took a good lead through the midgame, and got a great engage by Dexter's Evelynn in the midlane resulting in a four for zero trade for CLG. CLG immediately took baron, but lost several members due to Hai's spears and the C9 team following up.

CLG then made moves towards the dragon, but Meteos and Lemonnation slowed them down. All the while Hai and Sneaky took the middle inhibitor turret, and eventually the inhibitor and a nexus turret. C9 had a gold deficit at this point in the game, but they nonetheless maintained superior map control. Through their vision C9 werere able to pressure CLG into a fight, where C9's Sneaky shot a great Twitch ultimate through 3 members of CLG while the rest of C9 disengaged, resulting in a 3-0  and eventually the game.

The second game of the day was between the two newest LCS teams in LMQ and Complexity. The game's unusual level one resulted in the teams having standard lanes. LMQ set up a lane gank onto Westrice in the toplane and took first blood. From that point on it was all LMQ. At 18 minutes LMQ had 16 kills and were completely controlling the map.

It seemed as though LMQ was having fun throughout the game and prolonging it. This lead to Complexity getting a couple of key picks and eventually forcing LMQ to press their advantage. When LMQ finally started their seige XiaoWeiXiao's Nidalee spears rained supreme forcing Complexity further and further back into their base, decisively winning LMQ the game.

The third game of the day was between a surging Dignitas and EG who came off an amazing upset vs Cloud 9. The game began with lane swaps and both top laners farming jungle camps until 3 minutes in when Dignitas took dragon thanks to their marksman/support duo staying in the bottom lane. Dignitas took small objectives repetitively and it slowly added up to a small lead. At the second dragon spawn EG tried to contest, but Snoopeh was out of position and gave up first blood to Shiphtur.

The game played out with Dignitas continually pressing their advantage. Shiphtur consistently burst down members of EG during key objective seiges, and Imaqtpie constantly pushed side lanes to get minion waves in their advantage. Dignitas eventually used their advantage to take baron and Shiphtur scored a double kill when EG tried to contest. Shortly afterwards Dignitas was able to take bottom inhibitor then rotated to take the midinhibitor. EG engaged in a last ditch effort to save the game but Dignitas was to far ahead and turned back onto them and traded three for zero and pushes to win the game.

The final game of the day was between a shaky looking Curse and an underperforming TSM. TSM started the game by taking a 3 minute dragon and following up with vision control. TSM also took the next dragon but gave up three kills in the process giving Curse a slight avantage. Even with the advantage Curse was not able to capitalize as they wanted.

When Curse took an uncontested dragon, TSM shoved down midlane and took the tier 2 middle turret. Then TSM rotated towards the top lane tier 2 turret where they caught out Quas and shoved the turret down. At this point TSM's Jax was able to take control of the game with constant splitpushing and by securing several inhibitor turrets and teamfights to snap TSM's 3 game losing streak.
