RoX.KIS will not be attending EMS One Summer due to travel issues from two of their players. The team to replace them has not been announced yet but it is expected that EMS will do so before next week.

RoX.KIS, despite qualifying for the EMS One event for the second time this year, have decided to drop themselves from the tournament due to travel issues from two of their players.

According to the statement from their manager, released on goodgame.ru, two of their players namely Vladimir 'yol' Basov's and their newest member Maxim 'TpoH' Vernikov's passports are outdated and they will not have enough time to prepare the proper documentation to go to Poland early next month. Technically, the team could still go with two stand-ins but RoX.KIS management feels that it is unrealistic to send so many stand-ins because their underperformance from the lack of practice will give a bad image of their organization.

Statement by PodoX, RoX.KIS team manager:

Hello everyone. As you may already know, our team was supposed to go to Poland with a stand-in. A couple of days before we won a qualifier we found out that two of our players' foreign passports are outdated (yol and TpoH). We were trying to solve this issue in the meantime, but we came across a rough truth. We don't have enough time to prepare the documents prior to the tournament. Moreover, Dread, as you may know as well, took a vacation. Therefore our management decided that going to the tournament with three stand-ins is just non-expedient.

EMS has not released the information on who will be going to EMS One Summer in their place yet. One possibility is to allow the top two teams from the upcoming third place groupstage tiebreaker, initially to select the final team qualifying, to go through. We are still waiting on confirmation from EMS One regarding the matter.

-Update-

EMS has confirmed that the two winners of the matches below will qualify for the offline playoffs.

Infernity vs Netolic.ru
Rat in the Dark vs Imaginary Gaming

RoX.KIS alongside their former captain, Alexey 'Solo' Berezin placed second in the first season of EMS One. Their great performance in Poland two months ago was a shocker to many considering they had a bunch of roster changes right before the tournament began.
