An article on the Swedish Aftonbladet.se says that Naniwa has already found a new team but will wait some time before announcing it. The Protoss also plans a return to Korea and talks about not wanting to be compared with Thorzain.
Approached after his win in the fifth EsportSM qualifier, Naniwa reveals details that certainly spark interest. Apparently, the Swede has already signed with a new team but will wait a week or two before finally spilling out the name. The same sources state that after spending some time at home, Naniwa will again move back to Korea to practice for the upcoming DreamHack circuit.
Naniwa also mentions how in his eyes he is the Swedish player with the highest potential, how he doesn't want to be compared with Thorzain since he thinks he's much better than the Terran, and how he's tired of the latter being referred to "King in the North".
- "The only reason I'm in the SM is to beat him [Thorzain]," says Naniwa.
There still isn't the slightest detail on which team has signed Naniwa, who is also currently under the personal sponsorship of Mionix.
