Honor of Kings: Augran guide, arcana, and equipment

Want to learn how to play Augran? Here is a guide on The Conductor of Souls in Honor of Kings.
Honor of Kings’ newest fighter, Augran, has landed on the official global server. The Conductor of Souls from the Misty Realm has the ability to control the fates of all heroes in the Hero’s Gorge.
He is a strong fighter who can stay healthy in team fights because of his life-stealing potential. Most players recommended that Augran be played as a jungle. However, in some cases, he is also a capable clash laner.
In this guide, we will show you how to play him as an exceptional jungler who has strong ganking capability in the early stages and turns into a team-fight monster in the later stages of the game.

Arcana
Total Stats:
- Physical Attack +16
- Physical Defense +23
- Attack Speed +10%
- Movement Speed +10%
- Max Health +702
- Cooldown Reduction +6%
*These stats are based on Level 5 Arcana.
This build uses three main Arcanas for Augran: Fate, Void, and Stealth. These Arcanas make him tanky while dishing enough damage to secure early kills. Perhaps the most important one is Void, which gives Cooldown Reduction and Health to Augran.
Equipment
1. Giant’s Grip
The first crucial item for every fighter or tank jungler is Giant’s Grip. It’s unnecessary to upgrade it as soon as possible, as Patrol Axe is still viable until Augran gets his first or second item. Besides, HoK will keep track of his jungling stacks even after fully stacking Patrol Axe.
Stats:
+1,200 Max Health
+5% Cooldown Reduction
+6% Movement Speed
Passive - Hunter
When a Basic Attack or a skill hits a monster, it takes 75 + 5% extra true damage every 0.5 seconds for 2 seconds (heroes only take 20% damage).
Passive - Reward
Increases the user’s Max Health by 30 and Cooldown Reduction by 0.2% whenever the user or their teammate within a range of 700 units kills a monster for up to 25 stacks.
2. Boots of Resistance
Augran’s movement item choice is flexible, depending on the enemy lineup and what he needs to counter them. If they have a lot of crowd control, then Boots of Resistance is a good choice. If they have a lot of physical damage, he can opt for Boots of Fortitude. However, he mainly wants to buy Boots of Resistance because of the game’s bountiful CC.
Stats:
+120 Magical Defense
Passive - Swift
Movement Speed +60.
Passive - Tough
Grants 30% resistance (reduces the duration of debuff).
3. Blazing Cape
Blazing Cape is the best item right now in Honor of Kings for every fighter jungler. It enables them to clear camps even faster and gives a considerable amount of DPS to enemies just by standing near them. It also reduces the enemy's healing effect by 35 per cent, so it counters a lot of enchanters or carries with high lifesteal.
Stats:
+240 Physical Defense
+1,000 Max Health
Passive - Conflagration
It inflicts a burning effect on enemies within a 300 range, dealing 28-56 (+3% Health) magical damage every second. Damage dealt is doubled against minions and monsters.
Passive - Imperil
When a basic attack, skill, or burn effect hits an enemy, it reduces their Health recovery and lifesteal by 35%, lasting for 3 seconds.
4. Blood Rage
Blood Rage is an item you get to maximise Augran damage and lifesteal capability as it increases his damage considerably. Augran can activate the item to give him a shield equal to 40 per cent of his HP and 80 physical damage at the cost of 30 per cent of his current HP, making him even more dangerous in team fights. Upgrade it to Phantom when it’s possible
Stats:
+40 Physical Attack
+1,000 Max Health
Passive - Exasperation
Basic Attack deal (4% Health) extra physical damage. The damage increases up to 100% when HP is below 50%.
Active - Blood Fury
Gradually depletes 30% of the current HP, gains a shield equal to (40% Health), and increases physical attack by 80 over 4 seconds.
5. Eye of the Phoenix
Eye of the Phoenix is an item that is needed for Augran to stay in team fights longer. It boosts his healing capability (including lifesteal) the lesser his HP is. Eye of the Phoenix also gives a lot of magical defense to counter high-damage mages.
Stats:
+240 Magical Defense
+1,200 Max Health
+100 Health per 5 seconds
Passive - Bloodline
Eye of the Phoenix increases health recovery effects by 6% for every 10% Health depleted.
6. Cuirass of Savagery
The last item for Augran is Cuirass of Savagery, which considerably boosts his damage and chase potential. Whenever he takes damage from any source, it grants a stack of damage and movement speed.
Stats:
+30 Physical Attack
+220 Physical Defense
+900 Max Health
+5% Movement Speed
Passive - Fearless
When taking damage, the user damage is increased by 2%, and Movement Speed is increased by 1% for 3 seconds, up to 5 stacks.
Situational: Sage’s Sanctuary, Sky Dome, Destiny, Splendor
The rest of the items are very situational. If Augran needs that second life to stay in battle because of enemy pick-off potential, Sage’s Sanctuary might become a great choice to replace Cuirass of Savagery.
Sky Dome is a very late-game substitute for Blood Rage as it can reduce damage taken and dispel Crowd Control from his opponent. On the other hand, Destiny ensures you have that one-second edge in team fights for that game-winning execution on enemies. For that very situational moment when Augran needs to start against five hard CC opponents, Splendor might be a good substitute for Cuirass.
How to Play Augran
Augran is a very strong hero in all stages of the game. However, his playstyle differs from one stage to another. In the early stages, he excels in diving the enemy backline with his high mobility and survivability. He can survive three to four tower hits easily when reaching level four. Try to look for ganking opportunities even before reaching level four, as you can stick to the enemy with your auto attack.
In the later stage of the game, Augran becomes a tanky front liner with the ability to absorb a high amount of damage because of his ultimate, Conductor of Souls. When hitting an enemy with his ultimate, he leaves a mark on them, and his auto attack gets increased damage and lifesteal. He can auto-attack every enemy with a mark simultaneously, which means he can rapidly recover his health if more than two enemies have a mark on them.
