Although Tempo Storm announced they would be releasing their current roster, the hopes are high for the organization to sign a newer, stronger set of players.
Tempo Storm swiftly announced Tuesday they would be releasing their Heroes of the Storm roster currently consisting of Kaeyoh, Goku, Tomster and TigerJK. Former member, Zixz, announced not long ago he would be leaving the Heroes competitive scene with no intent on returning. Team Manager, Zoia, also announced fairly recently he would be taking a step back from Heroes all together.
It was barely a full year ago that Tempo Storm was one of the most contended teams in North America when they obtained the Symboite Gaming roster late 2014. Recently with the rise of Naventic and other successful NA teams like Astral Authority, Gale Force Esports and Brain Power, their reign has fallen.
Tempo barely qualified for the Spring Regional and eventually falling in the semi-finals. Summer was brutal as they did not qualify for either of the two Regionals playoffs, loosing 2-0 to Astral Authority, COGnitive, Naventic, and Panda Global in the Group Stages.
While this may be the end of the current Tempo Storm roster, their statement suggests the organization will be signing a new roster soon.
With the massive amount of roster changes thought North America and Cloud9 recently dropping their team, Tempo Storm shouldn't have a difficult time vetting a strong team capable of bringing glory back to the organization.
