Chee “Lawliet” Lian dropped mere two games on his way to the RM 10,000 first place prize.

After more than two months of competition, one of the biggest Hearthstone tournaments in Malaysia crowned its champion. On the evening of Saturday, December 5th, Lawliet took a 3-1 victory over Kwyang, becoming the inaugural Dew Challenge Malaysia champion.

While Kwyang relied on the power of dragons, weaved into his Priest and Warlock control decks, Lawliet had chosen a very aggressive line-up as contrast. The combination of Face Hunter, Druid and Zoolock proved unstoppable through the five rounds of competition as Lawliet cut through some of the best the Malaysian HS scene can offer.

Lawliet’s triumph marks the conclusion of the circuit that saw hundreds of players compete in open tournaments that featured a prize pool of over RM 30,000.
