Our Card of the Day for February 12 is the Paladin's holy blade of pain and healing, and one of the most cost-effective 4-drops out there.

PROS:  This 4-drop weapon, with its 4 damage and 2 durability, is very efficient. It can kill most early game taunts and threats, allowing your minions to attack freely, suitable for aggro Paladins. Its healing effect increases your sustainability, which is perfect for control Paladins as they setup for bigger minions and spells. Another great thing about it is that it ruins the tempo of enemy aggro decks like Hunter or Warlock. Lastly, because of all its stats, it is cost-efficient even if it is used only once.

CONS: While there isn't any big drawbacks to this card, it may still pose problems in regards to deckbuilding. Because there are so many useful 4-drops ([card]Consecration[/card],[card]Blessing of Kings[/card], [card]Leeroy Jenkins[/card]), it may bottleneck your mana curve. Aggro Paladins are mostly affected by this, as there aren't many impactful low-cost cards in the class.
