Even though XDG did not announce official reasons for his departure, they already have a replacement for the Bulgarian.
No clear reasons are given for the departure of Lyubomir "BloodWater" Spasov. The announcement mentions unethical actions by eSports community members, but no further details are given. Such are expected in the near future.
Bloodwaterjoined the organization in April 2013 as their support player and helped team to reach 3rd place in both the spring and summer split of the NA LCS 2013, followed by a relatively disappointing performance at the S3 World Championship. After the World Championships, the team has struggled in the NA LCS 2014 season and even though the player has expressed his desire to continue playing for the team until the end of the split, the XDG organization has decided that it will be better for the team if he is replaced instead.
XDG has announced Bloodwater's temporary replacement, NickWu, the former top laner for Team MRN and compLexity, will join XDG in their attempt to improve their performance and salvage what is left of the season. NickWu will be in the starting lineup for the team as the jungler this weekend, while Zuna moves to support. This change is not finalized, as Nickwu, who has been jungling in the challenger scene, is joining the starting roster as a tryout.
