Dendi, Resolut1on, GeneRaL, Mag, Iceberg, ALOHADANCE and many more have signed up with national teams for the $1.5M World Electronic Sports Games 2016 Ukrainian qualifiers.

With four days remaining for teams to sign up for the Ukrainian qualifiers, three of Na’Vi’s players have joined Team Ukraine, and almost all of Vega Squadron's line-up registered under the Ukrainian Cossacks banner. Team Ukraine is managed by the Russian commentator Vitaliy 'v1lat' Volochai and features Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin, Ivan 'ArtStyle' Antonov, Viktor 'GeneRal' Nigrini, Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok from Digital Chaos, and former Team Spirit player, Andrew 'ALWAYSWANNAFLY' Bondarenko.

As for the Ukrainian Cossacks, Vega Squadron sent four of their players to the WESG national qualifiers, having to leave their captain Artsiom 'Fng' Barshak behind because of his Belarusian nationality. In place of Fng, Illia 'ALOHADANCE' Korobkin will be playing next week (starting on 16th of September) with the other four Vega members.

By the end of today, the 10th of September, no less than 24 teams have registered for the Ukrainian qualifiers. More teams are expected to take part as the deadline on the 14th of September allows quite a bit of time for everyone interested to register. For those who have a full Ukrainian stack and are willing to test their skills against the best players from their country, registration can be done here. The qualifiers will be held next weekend from 16th to 19th of September, with winners and runners-up advancing to the Europe and CIS regional qualifiers LAN that will be held from the 6th to 9th of October in Kiev, Ukraine.
