In the finals of The Summit European qualifiers, Fnatic has defeated Mousesports in a thrilling best of five series with a score of 3-2. They will move on to the LAN finals in Los Angeles this June where they will compete against DK, Na'vi, EG, NAR, and VG for a total prize pool of over $114,000.

The Summit qualifying matches came to an end earlier today with Fnatic defeating Mouseports, formerly known as Team Dog, in a best-of-five series that pushed both teams to their limits. Fnatic will be traveling to Los Angeles this June to compete against teams DK, Na'vi, EG, NAR, and VG for a total prize pool of over $114,000 and counting. The LAN finals will be taking place from June 5th-8th at the BTS Studio.

Despite Mousesports defeating Fnatic with a score of 2-0 earlier in the upper bracket, Fnatic came charging back from the lower bracket to defeat PowerRangers and Mousesports in the grand finals.

[Game 1 Winner - Mousesports]

In game one, Mousesports drafted a strong front-line team with Dragon Knight and Tidehunter. A Weaver to put out right clicks from the rear gave them a strong overall lineup, while Fnatic decided to target the early and mid game with Undying and Mirana. Unfortunately for Fnatic, early rotations from Weaver and Rubick gave them an early gold and experience lead by grabbing picks in various lanes. Fnatic attempted to regain some of their lost momentum by balling up at bottom lane, and successfully managed to stop Mousesports offensive multiple times However, neither team was able to gain a significant advantage over the other for the majority of the game. Mousesports late game eventually kicked in and they managed to wipe Fnatic out at 39 minutes near the Roshan pit. Fnatic called GG a few minutes later after losing most of their barracks.

[Game 2 Winner - Fnatic]

Mousesports stuck with their Dragon Knight pick once again while Fnatic selected Razor and Enigma. A massive team fight broke out before the game even began, with Mousesports Batrider dropping twice and four people dying in less than a minute. Even trades continued for the next ten minutes when Fnatic managed to take out four heroes at Mousesports tier 2 tower thanks to Razors massive stolen damage. Mousesports struck back with more ganks on Fnatics support, but Razor proved too powerful as Fnatic continually bullied Mousesports out of the lanes. With a massive gold lead and Aegis in hand, Fnatic grabbed key hero kills and 34 minutes in ran Mousesports over to claim the victory.

[Game 3 Winner - Mousesports]

In game 3, Fnatic picked up their infamous Earthshaker while Mousesports selected Wraith King and the Bounty Hunter/Ancient Apparition combo. Both teams placed their tri lanes at top, but Fnatic was able to grab first blood on Wraith King with a well placed fissure. The blood baths in top lane continued, but Mousesports were able to pull ahead in gold with their Bounty Hunter Track gold. Bounty Hunter was soon wealthy enough to buy a Dagon, and using Ancient Apparitions ultimate, Mousesports was able to find kill after kill. At 23 minutes in, Fnatic realized they had fallen too far behind and called GG with a score of 23-9.

[Game 4 Winner - Fnatic]

Fnatic selected a powerful rat Dota-esque lineup with Phantom Lancer and Furion while Mousesports got their hands on Dark Seer, Juggernaut, and Razor. Despite a slow early game, Fnatics Batrider took control of the game with key pickoffs paired with Keeper of the Lights massive nukes. At 20 minutes in Mousesports turned up the heat with five man pushes into Fnatics tier 2 towers. With Juggernaut almost getting a triple kill inside Fnatics base, it seemed like Mousesports might have secured a win. However, Phantom Lancer had gotten his hands on Heart of Tarrasque and became unstoppable. As the one man army swarmed Mousesports, a fight gone wrong resulted in them calling GG at 40 minutes in.

[Game 5 Winner - Fnatic]

With a score of 2-2 and everything on the line, Mousesports picked a lineup with Axe, Wraith King, and Puck while Fnatic chose a powerful push lineup consisting of Pugna, Furion, and Enigma. Early kills gave Fnatic a small gold lead that they used to purchase Necronomicons and blitz down Mousesports towers. Their siege lineup had all of Mousesports towers down 16 minutes in, forcing them to take defensive positions and lose farm. With their heroes snowballing out of control, Fnatic completely took control of the game and a battle near Roshan spelled doom for Mousesports as they called GG 24 minutes in.
