The third major of 2015, DreamHack Cluj-Napoca, was opened with the match between three-time major champions Fnatic and Vexed Gaming, a team who went through qualifiers in order to secure their spot at this event.

Vexed kicked off by gambling on the CT side of de_cobblestone, leaving only two players on B site. Fnatic quickly punished this for an early 3-0 lead. However, as the first big guns and nades came in for Vexed, the Poles got themselves back in this match by getting the lead. In the end of the first half Vexed had a 10-5 lead, but more important for them is that Fnatic didn't really look impressive on the field.

In the second half we saw Fnatic awakening and demolishing their opponents. Vexed couldn't find any gap in the Swedish defense and all their attacks ended in the same way - unsuccessfully. Gruby and Furlan were leading the board for Vexed with the kills, but that wasn't enough as Fnatic had a more than exhilarated flusha who was always on point. The final score was 16-10 and Fnatic will now move to the winners match, while Vexed will try their luck in an elimination match.
