
Clutch Gaming Arena has announced that they will be hosting a $15,000 CS:GO tournament during Clutch Con on January 30 - February 1 in Denver, Colorado. Today, the full participants list is known.
A ten days ago Clutch Con has announced the first eleven teams invited to its $15,000 tournament in Denver, Colorado. All but two of the teams that have accepted the invites were American. The only non-American teams to accept their invites were fnatic and KaBuM.
Today, the list got completed by adding 5 more names to it. The last two invites went to eLevate and Team Liquid's way, while SKDC and Paradox topped online and Swarm Gaming a local LAN qualifier.
The participating teams:
Fnatic Torqued ex-iBUYPOWER Karma Cloud9 WinOut Ubinited Mythic Denial KaBuM ex-mouseSpaz eLevate Team Liquid Paradox SKDC Swarm GamingClutch Con will use a very common format, where the sixteen teams will be splitted into four groups with the four teams placed in each of them. The top two teams from each group will then move on to the playoffs, which will be played in a best-of-three series.
These teams will be competing for $15,000 in prize money with first place netting $8,000, second place will take home $3,000, third and fourth place will both grab $1,000, while fifth through eighth will earn $500 each. The event takes place a week after the conclusion of X Games Aspen. If you are in the area, you can grab tickets here for what is sure to be a great tournament.
