The Asus-sponsored Republic of Gamers Masters finals have reached the semifinals stage, leaving only four teams standing.
Now on its third day, the RoG Masters 2016 LAN is well underway with the field of teams down to only four from the initial twelve, leaving TheMongolz, Risky, dreamScape and Leapfrog to battle it out for the title. Each of the teams that made the playoffs cleared their respective group, with only eight teams in total making the cut.
In Group A, Leapfrog and Chiefs came out the victors, with Mongolz and BOT finishing on top in Group B. DreamScape and Avant Garde tasted success in Group C, while Group D saw Risky and 5POWER narrowly making the playoffs. The initial matches of the playoff bracket went extremely quickly, with not a single one of the best-of-three series going over two maps. With half the field gone, Risky will be matched against dreamScape while TheMongolz take on Leapfrog in their semis, which will take place later tonight at the venue in Malaysia.
