One week left till DreamHack Winter 2012 Corsair Vengeance Dota 2 Cup. Long name, short story: The most prestigious western Dota 2 tournament after The International. These are the teams participating.
After two direct invites from the Summer final, one Valencia qualifier, ten subsidiary invites and three open online qualification tournament, the DreamHack Winter 2012 tournament called Corsair Vengeance Cup is almost ready go rumble.
MYM's slot to be reassigned
Counting correcly, after this slot distribution, only the two Bring-Your-Own-Computer (BYOC) teams should be missing to make it a full 16-team tournament at Jönköping. However, team MeetYourMakers decided to reject the invitation to DreamHack and opted not to travel to Sweden with its team. This means DreamHack will have to invite another team, which might come from the already registered BYOC teams.
MeetYourMakers is only leaving out DreamHack, after traveling to Kiev in October for SLTV finals and planning to go to Stockholm in December for Thor Open tournament. This leaves us with 13 teams known so far, which to our knowledge as of today will make the trip to the mid-Swedish city Jönköping, approximately 90 minutes away from Gothenburg.

The DreamHack Vengeance Dota 2 Cup will start with groups A and B (which do not have BYOC-teams) on Thursday, 22 November. Groups C and D (with one BYOC-team each) will be played on Friday, 23 November, followed by the quarter finals. On the final day Saturday, 24 November, only the semi finals and the finals will be played.
The broadcasting has been expanded from just TobiWan in Summer to a full four-commentator "Studio" team. Total prize money is SEK200,000, which is approximately $30,000. GosuGamers crew will be on-site for the DreamHack Winter and get keep you up to date with video, photo and text coverage.
