ESL TV established a new studio, now being able to transmit more often, even on the weekend, and they want to increase the amount of English content.

Yesterday, ESL TV officially announced Studio2, promising more shows, and more English content.

ESL TV's managing editor Tobias "neok" Grieser says the new studio "is sort of the little brother of the bigger studio." He explains that "due to little expenditure" they are more flexible and can present more shows. The commentators would not need a producer and vision mixer, and therefore can come in and stream as they like.

Moreover, ESL TV upgraded their technology, which results in better ingame-quality. If you had not already, be sure to check out the new studio next Tuesday at 18:30 when they stream and commentate the 8th play day of the German ESL Pro Series in StarCraft 2.

The set up of the new studio does not mean that the bigger one will be disestablished. Tobias Grieser says that specific types of shows, like gatherings, talk shows, or when they have a lot of players in the studio, are not possible in the smaller one.

In the end, the managing editor states that they are now able to do two commentaries at the same time. He continues, saying that the audience's comments will be more in the spotlight than before.

Tobias Grieser keeps silent about the further future of Studio2.
