How To Unlock Decorations In Monster Hunter Rise

Decorations will become available only after reaching Hunter Rank 4. This can be achieved by simply playing the game and completing the first few Village Quests. Once this is done however you will still need to unlock individual decorations in the Smithy. You can unlock each decoration in different ways. For example:

  • Increase Hunter and Master Rank: Some decorations are locked behind higher Hunter Ranks and Master Ranks, which you can increase by completing Urgent Quests until you rank up.
  • Progressing Through High/ Master Rank Quests: Some decorations are obtainable after unlocking certain High Rank and Master Rank quests.
  • Finish Specific Quests: Some decorations can also be unlocked by completing a quest, usually involving the slaying of a specific monster.
  • Obtain Specific Monster Parts: Some decorations become craftable at the Smithy after obtaining a necessary monster part. This can be obtained from Large or Small Monsters or items scavenged from the map.

How To Craft Decorations In Monster Hunter Rise

You will need Jewels to craft decorations in Monster Hunter Rise. You can obtain these by completing High-Rank quests. As of now, there are 5 different Jewels you can obtain in the game, each providing unique utility in crafting decorations.

  • Aquaglow Jewel
  • Bloodrun Jewel
  • Lazurite Jewel
  • Adamant Jewel
  • Sovereign Jewel

How To Add Decorations In Monster Hunter Rise

Decorations take up a varying number of slots based on how strong their buffs are. You will find 1-slot, 2-slot, 3-slot, and 4-slot decorations in Monster Hunter Rise.

  • In the Item Box or from the Smithy, navigate to the submenu titled “Set Decorations”
