The Wormy Passage drops Astro into a gloomy cavern full of creepy crawlies more than happy to stunt your progress. Though not explicitly so, it’s also lightly themed on The Last of Us, with bot cameos from Ellie, Joel, and a clicker zombie.

Bot 1 – Immune Survivor

At the start of the level, just before punching through the wall and moving down the tunnel, turn left. You’ll find the Ellie bot sitting on a platform near some birds.

Jump up to the platform then hit the mushroom in the direction of the both. Captured by VideoGamer

Bot 2

After the first ball-throwing cactus, hop to the next platform and look left. Use the mushroom to reach the level above. Use the frog gloves to punch the upside down white mushroom towards the bot on the ledge on the right.

Wait for the arm to come up then hit the hand with the boxing gloves. Captured by VideoGamer

Bot 3

After you cross the bridge with the second ball-throwing cactus, spot the dancing orange mushroom ahead. As its right hand goes up, spot the bot hanging on. Use the frog gloves to free it.

Bot 4 – Dependable Smuggler

After reaching the top of the orange dancing mushroom and just before the red button you can pull to continue the level, go left using the platforms with cacti on them. Destroy the large cactus at the top to reveal the Joel bot.

Bot 5

After defeating the first large green worm and revealing the jump pad, use it to break through the first layer of breakable glass in the shaft. The bot is on the right on the first shelf.

Bot 6 – Fungus Head

Right after the slingshot, defeat the green worm, then go left to find the bot. Defeat the green worm that spawns then hit the bot.

Bot 7

After getting eaten by the large fish near the end of the level and landing in the pink area, the bot is just ahead on the first platform on the climbing section ahead. 

The fish sequence is a scripted event, so just press on to the end of the level and it will happen automatically. You can’t miss it.

Puzzle 1

After the first tunnel, destroy the two crystals then use the platforms to move forward. Look right from where the cactus enemy is standing and you’ll see a crystal you can destroy to reveal the puzzle piece.

Fill the pond by punching the red button before attempting to retrieve the piece. Captured by VideoGamer

Puzzle 2

After the slingshot, defeat the green worm, then use the frog gloves on the red button to fill up the pond with water. The puzzle piece is underwater on the left.

You should automatically grab the piece as you make your way up. Just avoid the rising water. Captured by VideoGamer

Puzzle 3

After being eaten by the big fish towards the end of the level, you’ll reach a pink vertical platforming section. The puzzle piece is on a ledge on the left about half-way up.
