Age of Overlord continues this tradition as it boasts an impressive set of 101 cards with a total of 51 of them being holographic. The additional bonus that all Ultra Rare and Secret Rare’s have their own chance of coming in the Quarter Century Secret Rarity makes this a set that is well worth working for an Age or becoming an Overlord for.

The following prices are taken from TCGPlayer.com and could be subject to change over time.

10 Visas Samsara (Quarter Century Secret Rare) – $60.68

The Fighting Warrior Of The Fairies

  • Attribute: Light
  • ATK: 1500
  • DEF: 2100
  • Level Four

There are a lot of costly cards in Age of Overlord, and while that can be attributed to their rarity, for some their usability plays a huge part as well. Visas Samsara possesses not only an impressive DEF stat for a Level Four monster but an ability to recycle cards that have already been Banished or sent to the Graveyard. This makes it an asset in any Visas deck.

The fact that its attack increases for every card you recycle only makes it an even bigger threat on the field. Being able to do this once a turn could potentially leave you with a game-winning card at your disposal, ready to wipe out your opponent's monsters.

9 King’s Sarcophagus (Quarter Century Secret Rare) – $62.91

The Ultimate Protection For Your Horus Deck

  • Spell Card

King’s Sarcophagus protects your Horus monsters from cards that do not target them. This means they can avoid being destroyed by card effects such as Dark Hole and Mirror Force. You’re also able to directly send up to four Horus monsters from your deck to the Graveyard. This is particularly useful when you have ways to bring cards back as it allows you to avoid having to wait to draw the specific card.

With King’s Sarcophagus you do not even have to worry about your card being stronger than your opponents as if you’re using a Horus card to battle you’re able to send your opponent's monster directly to the Graveyard. This being a continuous Spell card only offers replayability of all its effects to give you a tremendous advantage in your duel.

8 Magicians Of Bonds And Unity (Quarter Century Secret Rare) – $70.69

The Famous Spellcasters Reimagined Into One Card

  • Attribute: Light
  • ATK: 2500
  • DEF: 2500
  • Level Eight

Magicians of Bonds and Unity was originally printed as a Quarter Century Secret Rare and is one of the more valuable cards in its original set Duelist Nexus. So, to see it reprinted so soon, and in the same rarity is actually quite baffling.

Nonetheless, collectors who could not originally afford its price tag can rejoice, as this reprinting significantly brings down the value of this stunning looking card. It’s just a shame that it serves a very valuable lesson for high-end collectors that a card's value can drop at any time due to a quick reprint.

7 Imsety, Glory of Horus (Quarter Century Secret Rare) – $89.27

The Paladin Of The Horus Archetype

  • Attribute: Dark
  • ATK: 3000
  • DEF: 1800
  • Level Eight

Age of Overlord brings in quite a few cards for the Horus archetype, and Imsety, Glory of Horus is a great addition to any Horus Deck. Not only does it give you another reason to run King’s Sarcophagus, it also allows you to further use your Graveyard to manipulate the Duel in your favour.

When your monsters get removed from the field by your opponent's card effects, you are also able to send a card from the field to the Graveyard. This will make your opponent think twice about eliminating your cards as in turn it could ruin their entire strategy.

Pair Imesty, Glory of Horus with King's Sarcophagus to be able to Special Summon it from your Graveyard.

6 Arias The Labrynth Butler (Quarter Century Secret Rare) – $92.26

Playing Trap Cards Has Never Been So Easy

  • Attribute: Dark
  • ATK: 1500
  • DEF: 2500
  • Level Six

Arias the Labrynth Butler is a new card that can be slotted into any Labrynth deck. Not only does it offer you the ability to set, and play a trap card on the same turn, but it also offers recyclability in its ability to be brought back from the Graveyard. This in turn allows you to set even more traps to then counter your opponents play.

While the Quarter Century Secret Rare version is a card you will undoubtedly want to pull just for its value alone, the Secret Rare variant is still an $11 card. Resulting in a win if you decide to nab it in a singular pack.

5 S:P Little Knight (Secret Rare) – $102.19

Your Banishing Queen But Your Opponent's Worst Nightmare

  • Attribute: Dark
  • ATK: 1600
  • Link Two

S:P Little Knight is by far one the most expensive standard Secret Rare card in this set. Pulling this card alone will result in you making more than your money back on an entire booster box. With it also coming in Quarter Century Secret Rare, the fact the standard Secret Rare is still over $100 is remarkable and a good sign that the card will retain its value.

Not only does the card look stunning, and would be a fit in any collectors' binder. Its ability to Banish cards as well as stop your opponent from attacking directly offers incredible protection in any Duel, allowing you some additional time to set up your field for the win.

4 WANTED: Seeker Of Sinful Spoils (Quarter Century Secret Rare) – $154.71

Search, Recycle, Repeat For All Your Diabellstar Needs

  • Spell Card

Diabellstar is an archetype that makes its debut with this set. WANTED: Seeker of Sinful Spoils helps to further cement the archetype as strong and dominant. Not only does it possess an incredible zero cost way to recycle cards from the Graveyard, it can also be used to search for cards in your deck and add them straight to your hand.

The card also offers great drawing power, meaning all of its effects will set you up for getting the cards you need out sooner, putting your opponent on the backfoot and in need of a way to counter. While the Quarter Century Secret Rare version is a high money card, the card's usefulness means that even the standard Secret Rare is still worth over $50!

3 Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis (Quarter Century Secret Rare) – $160.19

The Disruptor Of Your Opponents Combo Plays

  • Attribute: Dark
  • ATK: 2900
  • DEF: 2900
  • Rank Twelve XYZ

In the day and age of potential One Turn Wins, stopping your opponent from going on an extra long combo to get to their win condition is absolutely crucial. Therefore, it’s no surprise that this card is called ‘Super’ as its ability to stop your opponent from activating effects cements it as a great counter card.

Not only that, but you can avoid defeat and disrupt your opponent by sending cards back to the respective owners' hand. This card has the potential to allow you to leave your opponent without a monster on the board, and ready to take some crucial damage to their Life Points.

2 Diabellstar The Black Witch (Quarter Century Secret Rare) – $164.74

The Proof That You Can Never Fully Kill A Witch

  • Attribute: Dark
  • ATK: 2500
  • DEF: 2400
  • Level Seven

With the new Diabellstar archetype comes its first monster - Diabellstar The Black Witch. Proving to already be an expensive card, especially in the Quarter Century Secret Rarity, it’s certainly a card you’ll be wanting to pull to either add to your collection or sell on for profit.

To utilise the card, you’ll want to pair it with the Sinful Spoil cards, which are Spells and Traps that work in conjunction with Diabellstar The Black Witch. With quite a few ways to Summon it, and even ways to bring it back with ease from the Graveyard, Diabellstar The Black Witch will be on your field more often than off.

1 S:P Little Knight (Quarter Century Secret Rare) – $447.57

Quarter Century Secret Rares Have Never Looked So Good

  • Attribute: Dark
  • ATK: 1600
  • Link Two

The Quarter Century Secret Rare variant of S:P Little Knight is by far the most expensive card in the entire set. Everything about this card is excellent, it not only offers incredible utility, but its art also makes it extremely desirable. However, with a Secret Rare variant also in the set, the price for this specific card is unlikely to remain as high as it is forever. Especially considering Konami often regulates the price of their cards by reprinting them in other sets.

Nonetheless, that means the sooner you can pull it, the more money you shall receive from selling it on. Although, the chances of pulling a Quarter Century Secret Rare are also so slim that it makes receiving one hard to part with, so perhaps it’ll just look better in your binder.

This card is exceptional, however possibly too versatile, meaning it could be added to Konami's forbidden list, which will likely decrease its value significantly.
