In this guide, we are going to take a look at how you can make your very own Cauldron, which is used to make a majority of meals. The Cauldron can be upgraded, so we will also take a look at how you can do this. First, let's look at what type of meals you can make in one.
What Is The Cauldron Used For?
via FriendCalledFive/RedditThe Cauldron will come in handy when you are cooking pretty much any meal that requires more than one ingredient. At Campfires and Hearths, you can grill meat such as boar and fish. These are simple foods that will boost your stats, but there are better options out there.
This is where the Cauldron comes into play. With this, you can cook more complex meals, as well as mead bases.
For a complete list of every meal, be sure to check out our recipe guide!
How To Make A Cauldron
To make a Cauldron, you will just need the following materials.
- 10x Tin
Tin is an ore that you can find in the Black Forest Biome. Raw Tin deposits are usually found around shorelines, which means you don't have to fully enter the Black Forest biome to find it.
Tin can only be mined with an Antler Pick or better. This means that you will need to defeat Eikthyr first.
When you have at least ten Tin ore, you can smelt it in a Smelter to get a refined, bar version. As with other workstations, you will need to place the Cauldron with a Hammer and a Crafting Station nearby.
