As soon as you arrive in the Shivering Isles in Oblivion Remastered, it starts to become clear how strange this place is once you speak to its residents. A quick jaunt through Crucible, the Dementia side of New Sheoth, will illustrate just how cruel the world here can be, especially to susceptible residents like Sickly Bernice.

The proprietor of Sickly Bernice's Taphouse is suffering from a mysterious sickness and fears that time may be running out for her to find a cure. Out of desperation, Bernice asks you to help, so it's up to you to find a cure and save her life before it's too late.

How To Start A Liquid Solution

To start a Liquid Solution, you'll first need to go to meet Sickly Bernice in Crucible at the aptly-named Sickly Bernice's Taphouse.

You'll find this business on the southern side of Crucible, adjacent to Muutine's House.

When you arrive, approach the counter and speak with the proprietor, Sickly Bernice, to learn more about her mysterious illness.

Ask her if you can help, and she'll ask you to acquire some aquanostrum, which can typically be found in a pool at the bottom of Knotty Bramble.

How To Get The Aquanostrum For Sickly Bernice

Head to Knotty Bramble in the southern section of the Shivering Isles, south of The Hill of Suicides and west of Xavara, east of the Pinnacle Road.

Inside Knotty Bramble, you'll encounter several Grummites walking around the area, and they'll attack you on sight. Fight your way along the linear path west, then north to continue toward your objective.

When you encounter the Grummite on the other side of some Twisted Roots in the central area, turn north and continue along the path until you reach the door to Knotty Bramble, Hatchery.

From here, descend the path forward, and you'll see a large room with the pool of water that Sickly Bernice told you about.

Simply jump into the water near the statue, and your objective will automatically update, telling you that you've received a sample of the aquanostrum that you needed.

Now, leave Knotty Bramble and return to Sickly Bernice at her Taphouse.

What Rewards Do You Get From A Liquid Solution?

When you arrive, talk to Sickly Bernice, then select the 'Cure' dialogue option; she will breathlessly thank you for helping to save her life.

In return for your noble work, you'll receive the Circlet of Verdure Ring, which grants the following effects:

• Resist Disease by 60 percent
• Resist Poison by 60 percent
• Fortifies Health by 35 points
• Fortifies Endurance by 12 points

This ring is a welcome addition to wandering adventurers and should help you avoid being stricken with diseases, drastically cutting down on your need for Potions of Cure Disease.
