Many games have collectibles for the player to find, and the world of Unknown 9: Awakening includes several types you can find during your time traversing the world as Haroona. One of these is the Extractor and these gleaming blue machines can be found at every location the Ascendants have touched.

PostsThese machines draw Am from the Fold around them wherever they are, and the Ascendants are gathering as much Am as possible – likely not for any good reason, either. You could just leave them alone, but the Ascendants don't need any more power than they have already, so go ahead and start crushing them.
What Are Extractors?
Extractors are small machines produced by the Ascendants that can be found in a variety of places, from sitting on tables to being hidden in high or low places.
There's a total of 55 of them spread across almost every level in the game save for the very last one, and you can often see them from afar thanks to their bright blue glow.
Invest in the Umbric Resonance Skill in the Stealth Skill Tree, and it will highlight any nearby Collectibles while you're using Peek.

Extractor 1
Richat Structure
Crawl through the tunnel with Reika and into a camp with several Scrappers, then walk over to the tent and table near the crack in the wall where the Extractor is on a crate.
Extractor 2
Richat Structure
Go into the center of the camp with the forcefield, then head into the tent in the upper left corner of the camp and the Extractor is sitting on a table with a few radios.

After leaving Avi's bar, immediately turn left and go around the blocked staircase to the corner, and the Extractor is on the wall under the stairs.

Go through the first locked door, then take a right and head down a set of stairs immediately on the right, then turn the corner to the left and the Extractor is on the wall next to two people.

Go through the first locked door, and head forward to the main staircase across from two people talking. Go left past the person in green, around the corner to the right, and the Extractor is on a stack of crates.

Drop off the ledge and go through the heavy red door, then immediately turn right and head to the right side of the area. The Extractor is hanging off a balcony near a wooden fence.

Go through the locked door and kill the two Scrappers near the orange building, then turn around, and the Extractor is up on the wall of a teal building next to a balcony.

After defeating the Ascendants in the courtyard, go up the stairs to where the Scrapper was and over to the wooden railing at the edge. The Extractor will be on the side of a doorway, near some multicolored fabric hanging down.

Go over the thin beam and jump over the large gap between buildings, then walk down and around the lattice wall. Crush the rock wall and the Extractor is on a shelf in the corner of the room.

After jumping the large gap between buildings, turn left, jump onto the flowering vines, then climb up. Once you're inside the building, take the first right and the Extractor is on a wall around the corner.

Jump across from the green-walled building onto the roof, then drop off either side onto the lower balcony once the Ascendants are dead. The Extractor is in the corner on top of a crate near the edge of the railing.

After defeating the Ascendants on the roof, jump across to the flowering vines and climb up to the roof. Take the stairs down into the room and the Extractor is on a dresser at the bottom of the stairs.

Go across the thin beam onto the next building, then climb up the boxes onto the next room, then go up the tiny staircase. Break the crates, then crawl under the lattice wall and drop. The Extractor is on the wall of the green building behind you.

Go through the locked door after falling through the roof, and into the courtyard full of people. Turn left and break the nearby barrels, then crawl through, and the Extractor is above the person selling grains at a stall.

After defeating the Ascendants in the area, head to the upper left corner of the courtyard, and the Extractor is on the wall of a beige building next to a truck and some scaffolding you can Crush.

Go through the doorway to the docks, down the stairs, and follow the path through the people until you go left to a green building. The Extractor is on the ground by some crates near the gate.

Pass through the dock and drop into the tall grass near the water, then turn around. The Extractor is hanging from the ceiling above the water.

Defeat the Ascendants at the end of the dock, then go up the stairs and through the doorways of the orange building. The Extractor is sitting on a large crate near the stone railing.

Unlock the gate to the lower end of the dock, then break the crates and barrels leading to the crane. Walk to the right corner of the railing, then turn right, and the Extractor is on the ship by the controls.

Head up the pathway and past the building after defeating the first two Ascendants, and the Extractor is on the wall of a home next to a large rock.

Go into the building Luther's hiding in, go through the doorway to the right, and then immediately turn the corner. The Extractor is on a table in the corner of the room, near the lamp.
Extractor 22
Suknasari Forest
After defeating the Ascendants in the area, take the upper path past the Quaestor Detector, then go up the tall wall. Climb up the flowering vines to the entrance of the cave and the Extractor is on a chest near some stalagmites.

Go to the center of the area near the truck, then turn left and break the crates beneath the wooden gateway. The Extractor is on a giant spool next to an open chest.
Extractor 24
Suknasari Forest
In the clearing around the Morning Star's anchors, walk up to the shell of a house in the center of the area, then go to the home to the right of it, near the spotlights. The Extractor is inside the home on the wall by the entrance.

Leave the bridge, take the stairs going downwards to the outside section, then immediately turn right. The Extractor is hanging off part of the ship on the right side.

Go around the bar and back to Vincent's office and break open the door with Buchra. As soon as you go inside, turn around and the Extractor is on the wall above the door.
Extractor 41
The Morning Star III
After reconnecting the wires on top of the Morning Star and going back inside the ship, look up and the Extractor is on the machine scaffolding above you.

Once you're back inside the Morning Star, head down the first set of stairs and stop in front of the control room. The Extractor is on the bottom of the staircase above you.

Once you meet Azad by the thin wooden bridge, go up the nearby hill and into the house. The Extractor is in the corner of the room above the window.

In the area where the Sharpshooter was sniping at you, go to the second house on the left where an Ascendant usually is, but take the path up the hill. Go up the stairs and around the balcony of the larger house. The Extractor is on the cliff wall at the end of the balcony, above the river.

Follow Azad through the house and along the cliff, but stop before the gap you can jump across. The Extractor is on the side of the house, beneath the balcony.

After learning Umbric Attacks and going through the red door with Azad, stop and go left into the nearby house instead of following him. Break the crates, go around to the end of the balcony, and the Extractor is on the roof of a home below you.

Follow Azad down the hill towards the burned house, but stop at the wooden railing and turn left. The Extractor is on the cliff wall above you.

Once the Ascendants in the area are dead, go up the flowering vines near the right generator, and stop on the bridge. The Extractor is on the side of the cliff, near the railing.

Climb the flowering vines, then crush the stone wall in front of you, then climb the next set of flowering vines. Walk up to the open ledge nearby, and the Extractor is on the side of a pillar across from you.

Climb towards the top of the temple and up the flowering vines beside the Forcefield, then drop into the tall grass. Go to the edge of the railing by the water pool and the Extractor is on the right wall above it.

Go into the large downstairs kitchen after learning about the Am Cannisters, then turn around and go through the doorway near the filled sink. Head towards the open doorway across from you, then turn around. The Extractor is hanging off the central archway in the room.

On the first floor of the manor, go to the room in the upper left-hand corner of the building with the green couch in front of the fireplace. Walk up to the windows, then turn around, and the Extractor is on the middle pillar.

After you go through the heavy red door with Luther, stop at the split path and go right away from Luther. Climb up the flowering vines onto the bridge, and the Extractor is on the side of a house next to a statue.

After following Buchra into the cave, follow the path to the left and under the rock wall. Break the tree and use it to cross the gap, then turn around and look up. The Extractor is on the cave wall above you, near the ceiling.

Once you exit the cave, head down the ramp and jump over the first gap to where the first Gunner is. The Extractor is on the side of a building, across from the platform.

Walk down the stairs and sneak into the room with the electrical equipment in the center. The Extractor is on the back wall, next to a lamp and above a shelf full of wire spools.

Follow the path down the ridges while avoiding or killing the Gearhead, then climb up the rock wall and go through the crack in the wall to the next area. The Extractor is at the end of the area, hanging on a fence next to the heavy red door Buchra waits for you at.

Go down the stairs into the circular chamber and once you've killed all the Ascendants, go into the corner with the railroad tracks and turn around. The Extractor is high on the wall behind you, near the top of the pillar.

After unlocking the multi-lock door, follow Buchra across the stone bridge and around the Am conduit. Head down the small staircase, then turn to the right, and the Extractor is hanging off the bottom of the bridge.

Climb down the ridges to the small area with two locked doors with red lights, and walk onto the railroad tracks going off to the left. The Extractor is across from you, hanging onto a piece of machinery.
Extractor 52

After navigating through the path full of twisted rubble and going through the crack in the wall, climb down to the area where the Ascendants are, and immediately hug the railing to your right. The Extractor is on the side of a wall below you.

Drop into the Ascendant-filled cavern, and follow the path to the left, but stop on the short wooden bridge. Turn to the right and the Extractor is sitting on a cliff below you.

After you meet up with Buchra again and ride the wooden platform down, cross over the narrow stone walkway then stand against the ledge just around the corner. The Extractor is sitting on a rock formation below you.

Head down the crumbling stairs after Buchra saves you from the Gearhead, then stop once you pass the second doorway on the way down. Turn to the left, look over the railing, and the Extractor is hanging off the side of a rock below you.
