Monster Hunter
Speaking of monsters with incredible armor, Kirin is an astonishing monster in the series, as it is essentially an electrically charged unicorn that will give you a run for your money if you wander into its territory ill-prepared.
This Elder Dragon is more or less a staple of the series, as it has appeared in almost every Monster Hunter game outside of a few. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
The Sky Comet Dragon, Valstrax, is our next pick, offering one of the best-looking designs you could ask for in an Elder Dragon. Its sharp and eternally burning wings pair well with its sleek and silver body. And, in most cases, you will only see its burning wings hurtling toward you, which at that point is likely far too late for you.
Valstrax is an incredible monster in the series, but sadly, it only appeared in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and has only appeared in a few spin-offs since. Seeing this beauty appear in Monster Hunter Wilds would be a wonderful surprise, and we hope it happens!

Another newcomer to the series is Nergigante, an Elder Dragon that first made its appearance in Monster Hunter: World, that made an additional appearance in its Iceborne expansion, then skipped the entirety of Rise and its Sunbreak expansion, leaving us wanting to encounter it that much more in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Nergigante has been a smash hit with fans since day one. Its armor is also incredibly cool-looking, making hunting it down well worth the effort, even if it is one of the more challenging encounters early on. We would do anything to see it return for the next installment!

After a long list of Elder Dragons, we finally have another Leviathan monster to add to the list with the very rare and exceptionally unique Abyssal Lagiacrus that only appeared in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, only appearing in spin-offs ever since.
What makes the Abyssal Lagiacrus so unique is you can only fight it underwater, giving way to some of the best visuals in the series, making it an exceptional encounter from start to finish. If the Abyssal Legiacrus returns in Monster Hunter Wilds, you better prepare yourself for a one-of-a-kind experience!

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
Perhaps a bit too new, but we loved the Primordial Malzeno encounter so much in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak that we are dying to have it make a return in Monster Hunter Wilds. If you love challenging and highly stressful encounters like we do, you must fight the Primordial Malzeno to understand why we love it.
Primordial Malzeno also has tremendous armor and weapons for the player to obtain after defeating it, driving home how sick this Elder Dragon is overall. Words cannot describe how much we want this absolute unit of an Elder Dragon to return in Monster Hunter Wilds!
2 Zinogre
Monster Type

Its inky black plates and deep purple highlights make for a breathtaking color scheme that translates well to its armor and weapons you can obtain by defeating it.
Gore Magala appears in far fewer installments than it should, and its recent appearance in Sunbreak gives us hope that we will see it again in Monster Hunter Wilds. Everything from its appearance to its moves to its rewards is spot on, and what we want from Monster Hunter, so it would only be a positive if it appeared in the next one!
