Animal Crossing's Dodo Dock And Town Hall Have Been Turned Into Lego Sets

Summary
- Lego has revealed it will be adding two more sets to its Animal Crossing collection on August 1, 2024.
- The sets will be recreations of Animal Crossing's Dodo Airlines Dock and Town Hall.
- Some of the characters getting their own Minifigures in the new sets include Tangy, Audie, and KK Slider.
Lego's partnership with Nintendo to turn Mario and elements of the Mushroom Kingdom into sets has enjoyed massive amounts of success since the range's introduction in 2020. It only makes sense that more Nintendo IP would eventually be turned into Lego, and picking the series responsible for the second-best-selling Switch game ever was the next logical step. Lego's debut Animal Crossing sets were released last month, and now we know that collection will be expanded upon this summer.
Lego has revealed two new Animal Crossing sets, both of which will be available from August 1, 2024. The teaser begins with KK Slider, someone who doesn't have their own Minifigure yet but will do as a part of these new sets, spotlight on them, strumming a guitar. Before you get too excited about an automated Lego KK or an Animal Crossing Lego game, there's a disclaimer at the bottom of the video making it clear the new Minifigures will neither move nor sing.

PostsThat might have been expecting a little much, but better safe than sorry. As for what you will get in the new Lego sets, the one that will seemingly include a KK Minifigure appears to be modeled after Animal Crossing's Town Hall, a camper van thrown in for good measure. Alongside KK Slider in the set are Isabelle and Audie, the former potentially getting their second Minifigure via this expansion.
Animal Crossing's Town Hall And Dodo Dock Has Been Turned Into Lego
The second set shown off is a Lego recreation of the Dodo Airlines dock through which characters arrive in Animal Crossing. A Tangy Minifigure can be seen welcoming the plane which is piloted by a Wilbur Minifigure. Lego's Animal Crossing range will be expanded from five sets to seven when the new additions officially arrive on August 1. How much they will cost hasn't been revealed yet, and it's a little hard to judge how much they're going to be. The prices of the Animal Crossing sets currently available begin at $14.99 and go all the way up to $74.99, the collection's most expensive set so far.
Nintendo and Lego are clearly keen to keep working together, and beyond the new Animal Crossing sets coming on August 1 we know a little more about what their partnership will bring. Lego celebrated Mario Day this year by revealing it has Mario Kart sets coming in 2025, but what they'll look like and what will be included hasn't been revealed. Rumors continue to swirl that a Legend of Zelda set will be announced soon too, potentially releasing as soon as September of this year.
