There are only two individuals present in this case: the victim and the assailant. Think about the following:

  • There's a handy list of names on the victim's person.

This is one of the simplest series of events to work out in the game, but it does require a fair bit of detective work.

  • Who is likely to have a baton?
  • There's only one word that could fit the murder weapon.
  • This place looks like a prison, but what else could fit that description?

Solution

The professor, Oriel Toussaint, killed Morg Brakka with a strap from a straitjacket in the Red Wood asylum.
