Dragon Age: The Veilguard Trophy List Seemingly Leaks, Includes Major Spoilers

Summary
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard's trophy list has been revealed, and it seems to include some pretty major spoilers.
- From the trophy list, we know the game will contain 14 chapters, and the description of the trophy for beating the game seems to hint at the identity of the final boss.
- That means it's time to start locking down your social media accounts until the big day, and pray to Andraste you make it through unscathed.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a little over two weeks away from release, which means it's currently a very dangerous time to be a big fan of the series. We know that games can make their way into the hands of players pretty early, as happened with recent releases such as Silent Hill 2 Remake, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. That hasn't happened just yet with Dragon Age, but spoilers may still start making their way online soon.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard's Trophy List Includes Some Major Spoilers
That's because it appears as though the game's trophy list has been shared online, and each trophy includes a small description of what players have to do to earn said trophy. It’s usually not that much of a problem, as most developers tend to make achievement and trophy descriptions fairly vague to avoid potential story spoilers getting out ahead of release, but BioWare doesn't appear to have taken those same precautions.
From Dragon Age: The Veilguard's trophy list, we can see that there are 14 chapters in the game, each one bagging you a trophy for completing them, and each trophy has a short description of what goes down in the chapter. It's pretty difficult to glean any details about the story from these descriptions, apart from the trophy for Chapter 14, which appears to hint at the identity of the game's final boss.

Dragon Age has always made our decisions matter, but The Veilguard will change that.
Posts 9Thankfully, the rest of the trophy list is very vague, though it looks like maxing out your relationships and completing the quests for each companion will net you trophies too. Again, these are pretty vague, and you can't really get any details from them, but you're probably still better off avoiding them anyway. I imagine these trophies will be marked as "Secret" in the trophy list on PS5, so all you need to do is avoid looking at trophy lists and you'll be fine.
You also might want to start considering locking down your social media accounts, as theory-crafting among fans could start based on these little descriptions. Like we said from the top, it's also usually around two weeks from launch that fans manage to miraculously get their hands on the game, so better to start taking precautions sooner rather than later. We'll see you again on October 31.
