The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom - Acorn Gathering Guide

There are several minigames in The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom, and you can complete them to earn more rupees and unique items. While these aren't a requirement to complete the game, they're a distraction from the main quests and offer an entertaining break from the general flow of the game.

What a shocking revelation!

Several colorful characters around Hyrule will challenge you to collect acorns within a time limit. While it seems straightforward, some of these challenges are more difficult than others. We'll show you where to find each of these minigames and how to complete them! Here's how to quickly collect every acorn.

Some of these are not available until after completing the Hyrule Castle rift.

Hyrule Castle Town Location

West of Hyrule Castle Town, just beyond the closed gate, you'll find a man waiting for you. He'll challenge you to collect acorns while swimming through the river. It costs ten rupees to get started!

There will be a couple Tanglers in the water, but you can easily avoid him to collect all the acorns.

There are a total of ten acorns for you to collect in 22 seconds. You'll have to swim up river to gather them all. Once you do, you'll earn 20 rupees.

If you manage to collect them all in under 15 seconds, you'll earn additional might crystals!

Kakariko Village Location

Northeast of Kakariko Village, just past the windmill along the edge of the eternal forest, you'll find a man wearing an acorn hat. For the price of ten rupees, you can attempt to collect 11 acorns in under 40 seconds.

Beware the birds flying above, as they will attack you.

If you collect all the acorns within 20 seconds, you'll get a piece of heart in addition to the standard 20 rupees.

Crossflow Plaza Location

There are a total of six acorns you'll need to collect, and many of them are in the water. You'll even have to dive for one of them! However, it's not as easy as it seems.

Northeast of the Crossflows Plaza, along the waterfalls, is the man with the fancy acorn cap. For ten rupees you can play the game, but you'll need to avoid many jumping monsters in the process.

When the timer starts, immediately summon your strongest aquatic echoes to distract the monsters so you can focus on the acorns.

Once you've gathered them all within 40 seconds, you'll earn 20 rupees. You'll get an additional 100 rupees if you can collect them all within 25 seconds.

Northern Sanctuary Location

You'll need to restore the Stilled Northern Sanctuary Rift before you can play at this location.

North of the Hyrule Castle Town, there are a total of 11 acorns to find here, and they're all along the fences and the sanctuary rooftop. You'll have 40 seconds to do it, and it should be quite fast.

In addition to the 20 rupees you get from completing the challenge, you'll also obtain a golden egg if you're about to collect every acorn within 20 seconds.

Western Hyrule Fields Location

All the way to the west, above the Gerudo Desert but below Kakariko Village, you'll find a rocky area with another man in an acorn cap. There are a total of 16 acorns for you to collect here.

You'll have a full 60 seconds to collect them all, but if you move fast, you can get them. If you're able to collect them all within the time limit, you'll get 20 rupees. If you complete the challenge under 40 seconds, you'll obtain a steel trap!
