Best Party Composition
By far, the best people to bring are Yukari, Akihiko, and Koromaru. Yukari can take the supporting role and heal your party members, as well as dispel poison when its inflicted. Koromaru can hit the Five Fingers of Blight's weakness with his Dark attacks, and Akihiko can use Electric to target Venomous Magus.
Make sure to use the teleporter to change out your party members and save, otherwise this battle will be more difficult than it needs to be.
How To Defeat Venomous Magus
To defeat Venomous Magus, focus on taking out the Five Fingers of Blight first. They will continue to buff Venomous Magus and debuff the party, dragging the battle out.
Use Koromaru's Dark abilities, or any items you have that will inflict Dark damage, to knock them down. Shift to Akihiko to deal Electric damage to Venomous Magus. Use the All-Out Attack to deal serious damage, rinse, and repeat.
Continue with this process, healing as needed, until you've defeated the boss. You'll claim your rewards and be able to progress further into Tartarus.
