Summary

  • Ratings in WWE 2K25 remain controversial, with some wrestlers deserving higher scores.
  • Past wrestlers often get higher ratings, but X-Pac hasn't received the same treatment.
  • Several wrestlers like Chelsea Green and Ludwig Kaiser deserve higher ratings based on their accomplishments.

Overall ratings in the WWE 2K games are always contentious. That hasn't changed in WWE 2K25, as many feel 2K hasn't given everyone the correct rating. Like in 2K24, fans think that several people on the roster have been short-changed and not given the respect they deserve.

It's worth pointing out that the ratings are based on how a wrestler is presented on the show rather than how good they are at putting on matches. Not everyone recognizes this, which is what creates plenty of complaints. However, considering the 'how they're presented on TV' concept, there are still some questionable ratings. For example, the following superstars deserve better.

8 X-Pac - 78

An Attitude Era Legend Who Deserves More Respect

Typically, in 2K games, past wrestlers and legends tend to get a bit of a boost. This is why several of them are among the highest-rated wrestlers in 2K25. For some reason, though, X-Pac hasn’t received the same treatment.

Yes, he was never a main event guy, but he was a key member of DX and won several championships. So, he deserves to have a rating in the 80s like The Sandman and The Honky Tonk Man.

7 Chelsea Green - 80

The First-Ever Women's United States Champion Is A Moniker That Deserves A Good Rating

Chelsea Green is constantly on WWE TV due to her incredible charisma and humor. In the ring, she typically cheats and takes shortcuts to get the win, but the key point is that she does pick up wins.

Most famously, she won the first-ever Women’s United States title by winning an entire tournament. That sort of accomplishment deserves a higher rating than an 80. Nobody is claiming she should be a 90, but a few more points would be fair.

6 Grayson Waller - 74

Not As Good As His Partner For Some Reason

2024 didn’t go perfectly for Grayson Waller, as his team with Austin Theory has struggled to really make major waves. They did win the tag titles, though.

Plus, the matches they did lose - and there were plenty of them - they lost together. So, this begs the question of why Theory is rated three points higher than Waller? They should really be the same since neither of them is booked stronger than the other. Theory’s 77 rating would probably be fair for both.

5 Indi Hartwell - 63

Rated Lower Than Managers

Someone at 2K seems to have a vendetta against poor Indi Hartwell. She was also among the lowest-rated wrestlers on the 2K24 roster, with a shockingly low rating of 63. She has retained that rating in 2K25.

Hartwell doesn’t work for WWE anymore, but neither does Tegan Nox, who has a 77 rating, so that can’t be the reason for Indi’s low number. She’s even lower than Scarlett, who is presented as more of a manager than a wrestler these days, while Hartwell is a former NXT Women’s Champion.

4 Jakara Jackson - 69

2K Sees Her As A Huge Weak Link In Her Team

Jakara Jackson having a rating of 69 doesn’t seem too strange at first. After all, she’s still just on NXT and hasn’t won much gold. Yet, the rating starts to get questionable when you realize her partner, Lash Legend, has a 78 rating.

There’s a nine-point difference between them, which is way too much. Yes, Legend is often presented as the bigger star of the duo, but not by as much as these ratings seem to indicate. If Lash Legend is a 78, then Jakara should be in the mid-70s.

3 Ludwig Kaiser - 75

His Rating Doesn't Fit His Spot On The Card

While he isn’t a constant figure in main events, Ludwig Kaiser is a common presence on WWE TV and an integral part of the main roster’s mid-card. You could compare him to the likes of Miz and Karrion Kross in terms of his spot on the card. Yet, they both have an 81 rating, while Kaiser only has a 75, which is a rating more suited to those doing fairly well in NXT.

So, he deserves to be ranked a bit higher. After all, he’s had competitive matches with the likes of Sheamus and Bron Breakker, who both have ratings in the late-80s.

2 Cora Jade - 74

A Rating That Doesn't Fit One Of NXT's Top Stars

Cora Jade hasn’t yet won the NXT championship, but she’s competed for it and is generally considered one of the top women on the development brand. Therefore, it doesn’t feel right for her to have a lower rating than the likes of Fallon Henley, Jaida Parker, and Lash Legend.

Jade should be one of NXT's highest-rated women’s wrestlers, with a number in the late-70s, not 74. Perhaps her long injury impacted her rating, but it didn’t need to.

1 Axiom And Nathan Frazer - Both 75

The Most Dominant Team In WWE Isn't Rated Like It

Okay, so this is technically two superstars instead of one, but they’re a tag team, so they go hand in hand. The team of Fraxiom has dominated the tag division in NXT, boasting one of the most impressive NXT Tag Team Championship reigns ever.

Despite this, they both only get a 75 rating. Yes, NXT stars tend to get lower ratings, but the likes of Obi Femi and Roxanne have managed to get ratings in the 80s. An 80 rating for each member of the team would’ve been more accurate.
