Unlocking Gnorpcalibur takes more steps than you may expect since you'll need to play the game quite a lot to even have a chance at getting it. However, once you know what to do, it's easy and can be done consistently during playthroughs.

Steps To Get Gnorpcalibur

If you want to remove Gnorpcalibur from the stone, you have multiple steps to follow before you can.

  • Unlock Talent Tablet tier five.
  • Buy the House Of Shards.
  • Buy The Shrine.
  • Find The Chosen.

How To Get The Shrine

You'll unlock The Shrine once you reach tier five on the Talent Tablet, which requires 14 Prestige Points. Once you unlock it, you can build The Shrine through the House Of Shards.

If you want an easy build to get 14 Prestige Points, use Slammers and Bombers early, then purchase G.E.E.T. Protocol from The Express.

You can then build the YX1-AB to create missiles, which will give you plenty of damage as you upgrade it.

As for collecting, focus on Runners, then purchase two Zygnorps. As you upgrade the Runners, the Zygnorps will also increase, helping you boost your Collection Rate quickly.

Once you reach Prestige Level 14, restart the run and work towards removing Gnorpcalibur.

Build The Shrine, Find The Chosen, Get Gnorpcalibur

Start by building the House Of Shards, which will now display The Shrine as a new option. However, it costs one million Shards, so you'll need to play the game as normal until you have enough.

The Missile and Zygnorp strategy can help you reach that point.

Once you've built The Shrine, spend nine Gnorps to activate Find The Chosen. If you don't have enough, purchase Additional Housing if you don't have it, or simply focus on Housing upgrades until you have nine.

You'll watch them take turns trying to pull out the sword, with eight of them disappearing and one wielding Gnorpcalibur. Once they do, watch them fly over to the rock, where they'll stab Gnorpcalibur into the rock, unleashing tons of Shards and upgrading The Shrine.

If you time it well, you can trigger a Compression Event by activating Gnorpcalibur.

What Does Gnorpcalibur Do?

Stabbing Gnorpcalibur into the rock will unlock three upgrades at The Shrine. Each of them costs four Gnorps.

Upgrade

What It Does

Accord: Reversal

50% of Shards the rock tries to reclaim are sent back into the pile.

Accord: Overdrive

The Overdrive meter fills, then has a sword appear to deal 3% damage to the rock. Your Overdrive Multiplier is always at max, and you no longer need to perform actions to keep it up.

Accord: Power

Damage that normally doesn't receive a Multiplier boost will now receive 13% of the Multiplier.

Reversal is best for Compression Events, Overdrive will cut down on your clicking actions, and Power will increase your Damage. You can only have one active at a time unless you get Gnorpcalibur: Unleashed from the final tier of the Talent Tablet.
