It's going to be a long time before we get to play The Witcher 4. As of now, the release window is 2027, but CD Projekt Red has never been one to follow due dates; and, we all know what happened the last time it rushed a release. What we do know is that Ciri will be the protagonist, following the good ending from Witcher 3.

The Witcher 3 transformed what it meant to be an RPG, but The Witcher 4 will have a tough time living up to it.

We also know that Geralt will be in the game in some capacity, although it's unclear what that will be. Some suggest that he may even be the final Gwent boss. We don't know who else will return, and it seems that even some major supporting actors aren't sure. Yennefer actor Denise Gough doesn't know if she'll return to the role.

Yennefer Actor Doesn't Know If She's In The Witcher 4

Denise Gough, who many will recognise as Dedra Meero in Andor isn't sure if she will return to the role of Yennefer of Vengerberg. When asked by Eurogamer how production on The Witcher 4 was going, Gough simply replied, "I don't know any of this". CDPR could learn a lot from the incredibly underrated Witcher 2.

We really hope we'll get at least a cameo by Yennefer in The Witcher 4. Considering that she initially taught Ciri how to control her powers, it would be fitting that she gets to see her in her prime. However, considering that Geralt actor, Doug Cockle, said the exact same thing. We're not sure what to believe.
