This quest centers around Geralt finding a pirate camp on Skellige's southernmost island, where you will have to pick between talking your way out of the camp or slaughtering your way through. Getting out peacefully will be either costly or difficult while fighting the pirates isn't as easy as it sounds.
Where To Start Flesh For Sale
To find Flesh for Sale, you'll need to reach Skellige's southernmost island, Faroe, and travel to Trottheim, the settlement in the middle of the island. When you reach the town, you'll have to enter through one of the gates. Finding an alternative entrance will make the guards try to kill you.
This quest can only be completed before meeting Lambert at the Seven Cats Inn during the quest Following the Thread.
The pirates guarding the entrance will be annoyed, confusing Geralt with a business partner of theirs. Here, you'll get to choose how Geralt will approach the situation, by playing along or killing the pirates.
Play Along
You'll need to pretend to be their client by choosing not to contradict their assumptions. Pulling this off will have a pirate lead you right to his boss.
Give Up
If you're not feeling talkative, you can come clean with the pirates, provoking all of them into trying to kill Geralt.
Freeing The Slaves
Assuming that you are playing it cool and pretending to be the pirates' client, you'll need to make a final decision before your deception is complete. The leader is a slave trader that is expecting a Nilfgaardian buyer for his victims.
You'll need to continue with the deception to get the final choice.
You can still free the slaves even if you didn't play along. You'll have to get the keys from the slaver's corpse to free them.
Buy The Slaves
You can't place a price on human lives, though this group will set you back by 500 crowns. Paying it off will let you free the slaves peacefully.
Use Aard
You'll need Delusion at level three for the Sign to work, which isn't easy. If you do have it, Geralt will convince the slaver that he's already paid, peacefully getting the slaves.
Come Clean
If you don't want to give them a coin, don't want to let them live, or are just tired of the charade, you can give up the act and fight the entire camp.
You can still free the slaves by taking the key off the slaver's corpse after slaughtering him and his men.
Once you've got the key, go to the holding cell marked by the quest to free the prisoners. If you're doing this peacefully, you'll need to lead them to safety. The quest will end once they're free.
