The Wand Company Reveals Officially Licensed Mini Poke Ball Collection

Unless you had a very vivid imagination, pretending to be a Pokemon trainer in the real world was once beyond our reach. Thanks to Pokemon Go, we can now venture out into the world to become the very best. The massively popular mobile game isn't the only way you can get a feel for what it might be like if Pokemon were real. You can also pick up The Wand Company's officially licensed Poke Balls, the closest thing to the real thing, and now there are miniature versions.
Well, there will be from February 12, 2024. The Wand Company, which has made replicas of almost every Poke Ball to appear in the series so far, is now making smaller versions of some of Pokemon's most recognizable Poke Balls. Headlining the new collection is, of course, the iconic red and white Poke Ball. Also included is the blue, red, and white Great Ball, black and yellow Ultra Ball, red and white Premier Ball, and the red and black Cherish Ball.

PostsEach mini Poke Ball comes with a black stand along with a display ring for it to sit on that lights up which is powered by triple-A batteries, and every ring has a different Pokemon printed on it. The Poke Ball itself is powered by two coin cell batteries, and that's because The Wand Company's replicas, including the upcoming mini Poke Balls, are for more than just display purposes.
via The Wand CompanyAlthough you won't be able to open your mini Poke Ball replicas and see the wonders inside - that's for Pokemon eyes only - the replicas are interactive. The button on the front begins to glow when you move your hand towards the ball. That light will glow brighter the closer you move your hand toward the Poke Ball, and then it will glow brightest when you're touching both halves of the ball at the same time. Don't get over-excited and throw the ball at this point, or at any other point. They might look and feel like the real thing, but these replicas shouldn't be thrown like the Poke Balls in the game.
The listings for the mini Poke Balls haven't gone live yet, nor have their prices been revealed. The Wand Company's full-size versions are $99.99, so even though the mini versions will be cheaper, they're still likely to be pretty expensive. $50 at best, but probably quite a bit more than that. Suffice to say, if you want to own all of them, it's probably going to get pretty pricey. Plus, with other Poke Balls available in full size, the miniature collection will likely grow in the future.
