When starting a new world in Terraria, you have the option to customize the seed. If left alone, you will spawn in a totally random world that you don't know much about. By changing the seed to known seeds, you can customize the world to become a little more familiar.

There are countless Terraria seeds spread around the internet, from official ones to unique seeds that players find. Here, we are going to take a look at some of the best seeds to use. If you have never changed a seed before, it's quite simple; from the world creation screen, just type (or paste) the seed into the box labeled "Seed". This will generate a world using this seed.

Be sure to type or paste in the seed exactly as written for each entry, the seeds are case-sensitive!

14 Drunk World

Hard

Have you ever played Terraria and thought, "I wish everything was mixed up"? Well, now your dream can come true. With the Drunk World seed, pretty much everything will be out of sorts.

Firstly, the Guide is now replaced by the Party Girl. In general, the world generation knows no bounds. Oh, and both Crimson and Corruption will appear in the world.

While the Crimson biome can be difficult and dangerous to navigate, sometimes, you just want to find it immediately. With this seed, you will be able to find the Crimson biome close to where you spawn, cutting down on the journey.

Of course, this can also cause some difficulty, as enemies from the Crimson may always be nearby. Once your world converts to hardmode, you won't have to worry about evil biomes spreading too far either; the 'V' generates in already-existing biomes, so there will be no new growth.

Hard

For the Worthy is a seed meant to test your strength, if you are new to Terraria, we advise picking a different seed. Overall, For the Worthy makes Terraria very hard.

Enemies are all stronger and there will be a lot of explosions. Like, a lot. Lit bombs have a 25 percent chance to drop when you destroy a pot. Oh, and all bunnies in the world will now become exploding bunnies which, as their name implies, explode upon death.

11 Not The Bees

Not the Bees will generate a bee-themed world. Rather than a variety of biomes across the world, the Jungle will now occupy most of the map, with an excess of honey and hive blocks. All water on the map will be replaced with honey, including both oceans.

This simple seed involves accessing the Dungeon early in the game. Typically, you would need to beat Skeletron, as he guards the Dungeon. This is done by interacting with the Old Man at night, who turns into Skeletron.

Instead of fighting this boss, you can enter into the Dungeon due to a tree root that has broken the wall. While the Dungeon Guardian may still attack, this seed is great if you are looking for quick dungeon access.

Get Fixed Boi, which is also called the Everything Seed, quite literally brings everything to your world. This seed is a combination of the following worlds.

• Drunk World
• Not the Bees
• Celebrationmk10
• The Constant
• No Traps
• Don't Dig Up
• For the Worthy

If this sounds like a lot, it's because it is. The Get Fixed Boi seed is also the only place you can fight Mechdusa. This is a fairly difficult boss that is a combination of Skeletron Prime, the Destroyer, and The Twins.

8 Don't Dig Up

Difficulty Level

Hard

Rather than generating on the surface of the world, the Don't Dig Up seed causes you to spawn in the Underworld. This area is quite dangerous, especially if you have no weapons or armor.

Although you will be underground most of the time, it will always be night. Additionally, everything above the world's surface will be either Crimson or Corruption, and touching the top of the map will kill you.

Difficulty Level

Normal

The Celebrationmk10 seed is all about the party. The seed itself was created for Terraria's tenth anniversary. Right as you start the game, the Guide, Steampunker, Princess, and Party Girl will start to party. To go along with this party, you can expect to see that most of the world is painted.

The NPCs in Celebrationmk10 are named after three of the people who helped develop Terraria; Whitney, Andrew, and Yorai.

That's right; many structures including the Dungeon and Pyramid will be pink. The seed also increases your chances of getting the Rod of Discord from 0.2 percent to one percent. This is a very helpful tool that will teleport you to wherever the cursor is.

This seed doesn't have an official name, but with it, you can very easily obtain two enchanted swords, as well as Starfury, which is a powerful weapon that summons falling stars.

Like the previous seed, this one isn't official. It is, however, great for those looking for Blood Altars. This seed is courtesy of Fantasybabydino on Reddit, who discovered a large Crimson Desert to the right of the spawn location.

Within this biome, you will be able to find plenty of Blood Altars, perfect for summoning (and resummoning) the Brain of Cthulhu. Overall, this seed is ideal if you want to farm Crimtane Ore or to increase your chances of finding the Bone Rattle.
