With two chapters completed in Arcade Quest this far, we arrive at Wonder City to begin the third chapter of Tekken 8's new mode, bringing us to a lovely change of pace regarding aesthetics, attire, and overall vibes. While you will notice a decent jump in difficulty here, if you took the bosses of Gong and Phoenix down with little to no issues, this region shouldn't be any different for you.

Here's everything you need to know about Arcade Quest's second region, Phoenix, in Tekken 8!
PostsLike before, you can expect Challenges from Max, Treasure Box Fights, and Standard Fights in Wonder City, culminating with a Boss Fight when progressing the Main Quest, having you square off against Rufleu, earning cosmetic goodies and lots of Fight Money and EXP!
Wonder City Overview In Tekken 8
We're far enough along in Arcade Quest now that you have completed two out of the six total chapters, allowing us to draw attention to how crucial it is to revisit the previous regions to finish up completing all the Standard Matches or Treasure Box Fights you may have yet to finish.
While your rank may do nothing in terms of giving you damage output or increasing your overall health or anything of the sort, what it does provide is personal experience, allowing you to hone your skills and prepare for the later areas, which might give newcomers a run for their money.
Wonder City's general Ghost Ranks are Cavalry, Warrior, and Dominator. If you tackle everythingGong and Phoenix offer before entering Wonder City, you should be a Cavalry-Ranked player, putting your skill level in the general area of your competition in this region!
Wonder City Overview
Within Wonder City, you will find 14 Brown Boxing Glove Icons, serving as Standard Matches that provide excellent sources of EXP and Fight Money. There are also two Treasure Box Fights that unlock unique customization options for your Avatar and Challenges from Max that can help you earn more Fight Money and EXP!
Wonder City Walkthrough In Tekken 8
As covered in the section above, Wonder City is one of the biggest areas in Arcade Quest, offering 14 Standard Matches, two Treasure Box Fights, a Boss Fight, and even three Max Challenges, making it one of the best areas to level up, taking you from Cavalry to Dominator. The sections below will outline everything you can expect from every encounter in Wonder City!
You will only reach Dominator in Wonder City if you did all encounters in Gong and Pheonix beforehand and do all Standard Matches and Treasure Box Fights in Wonder City as well. We recommend doing this as it will put your skill level on par with what's to be expected from the fourth chapter of Arcade Quest!
All Wonder City Challenges
- Hit Your Opponent With A Low Attack x5
- Use A Throw Move On Your Opponent x2
- Land A Combo For 60+ Damage
Similar to the Phoenix region, Max will teach you all about Low Attacks and Throws in the tutorials he offers you upon first arriving at Wonder City. Like before, if you turned down his offer, you can still partake in the tutorials by speaking to Max, selecting the 'Run Tutorial' option, and selecting the 'Teach Me About Low Attacks And Throws!' option.
For the 60+ Damage Combo, your Rage Art will work here if you want to get it quickly. For this, just have your opponent drop your health past the line on your Health Gauge, then press R2/RT to perform your Rage Art. We recommend doing it during a basic combo, but just tossing it out sometimes works as well!

Rufleu is the Final Boss of Wonder City and Arcade Quest's third chapter. She plays a Dominator-Ranked Lily, so be prepared to use everything Max taught you to your advantage to take her down!
And, as always, we cannot stress enough how crucial fighting the 14 Standard Matches is, as you will gain a tremendous amount of Fight Money and EXP as a direct result of doing so. While you risk losing EXP if you lose these matches, the experience you gain by fighting various Ghosts is well worth it.
Remember that your Offline Rank for your selected character is separate from your Online Rank, so losing these matches doesn't really do much. In fact, losing will only make you better in the long run, allowing you to focus on strengthening your weaknesses before heading into the final few regions and chapters!
