How To Unlock Gliders
In order to unlock the Glider crafting recipes, you need to have built the Spinning Wheel and the Loom. We have a full guide on how to unlock the loom here, but for easy reference, here's a quick breakdown of the recipe for each:
Spinning Wheel Recipe
- 8x Plank
- 5x Wooden Rod
- 15x Wood
Loom Recipe
- 9x Granite Slab
- 8x Wooden Rod
- 8x Plank
- 5x Wool Thread
How To Craft A Glider
CloseThere are two Gliders available to craft. The Basic Glider has less Lift, so really you want the Glider, but it all depends on which resources you have.
Glider Recipe
- 8x Any Rod
- 4x Wool Fabric
- 6x Silk Fabric
Basic Glider Recipe
- 8x Any Rod
- 4x Any Thread
It doesn't seem to matter which crafting materials you use to make the Gliders, as using rarer materials does not improve the Lift whatsoever.
How To Use The Glider
Once you've crafted a Glider, you must go into your inventory and equip it. Once equipped, whenever you jump from a height, you'll be prompted to press a button to use your Glider. Pressing the button again will put the Glider away.
Be warned that using your Glider is tied to your stamina bar and once your stamina runs out, you will fall.
Don't use your Glider if your stamina is low when you're jumping from a great height, and instead wait for your stamina to replenish.
