Tactics Ogre: Reborn - 7 Things To Do After You Beat The Game

Tactics Ogre: Reborn is an incredibly long game. Even with the conveniences added to this remaster, you are still looking at anywhere between 45 and 60 hours of gameplay before reaching the credits. You might be satisfied with this amount of time, but don't stop there yet. This cult classic offers even more to do once the main story is finished.

If you so desire, you can spend almost another few dozen hours going through all there is to see. If you need some direction or proof that Tactics Ogre: Reborn really is that big, just read the entries below.
7 CODA
Though the game has a fairly definitive ending, some threads are left hanging. Some of these can be mopped up with the CODA episodes, battles and quests you can access by heading to the Talk tab in the Warren Report.
These do not all take place after the events of the main story, and one of the tabs even brings this up as it mentions people seeing Denam in two places at the same time. Though magic factors little into the story until the very end, such sorcery is a normal part of the world. These battles can be challenging but they net some nice rewards such as new characters on the roster.
6 Palace Of The Dead
One of the rumors in the Talk tab describes a place known as the Palace of the Dead. You need to fight through several battles just to reach this area on the map, and the dungeon itself consists of over one hundred battles you must do without exiting.
Though it is a long bout, you unlock valuable equipment and items for crafting which improve the effectiveness of the units in your party. You can do Palace of the Dead before beating the game, but more floors are unlocked after the credits roll.
5 Beat The Six Fortresses And Shrines
If you didn't do this side quest already, this is another one you can buckle in for because it will be a little while. Read The Ancient Temples heading on the Talk tab, and you will gain access to four hidden fortresses on the map. These battles are a little tricky, but if your party already beat the last boss, then it shouldn't be too challenging.

Two of the temples are unlocked after other side quests, which can also be found in the Talk tab. After beating these bosses, head to the Coritane keep and pick "I Know I Will" in the dialogue options. Finally, you can now explore the six shrines hidden within the game. You also need to have one of the Phaoerena sisters alive and in your order to unlock the seals. It does not matter which one.
4 Phorampa Wildwood
This is another dungeon similar to Palace of the Dead, except Phorampa Wildwood unlocks even earlier in the game. However, it also is not fully explorable until beating the game. The Phorampa Wildwood is also a little more pleasant to look at since it is a more natural environment.
The battles are not too challenging, either, and you can find plenty of crafting elements and monsters the recruit to your party. Though unlocked as early as chapter two, you cannot do all the stages until the end of the game. There is little reason to do it beforehand either, except if you want more money and items.
3 Monster Auction
If you completely ignored the monster auction, now is as good a time to do it as ever. You simply need to capture beasts with the beast tamer class and then bring them to auction.
You can beat the game and have enough supplies and a powerful enough party without engaging in the monster auction, but it is another avenue to explore if you are looking to broaden your horizons in Tactics Ogre: Reborn. Plus, there is a side quest to recruit Deneb that requires you to use the monster auction.
2 Pirate's Graveyard
There are numerous side quests in Tactics Ogre: Reborn, but this is yet another one that is a full-on set of dungeons. The Pirate's Graveyard is used to both find a secret treasure and to recruit Azelstan, a hidden character.

You first unlock it in the fourth chapter, but it expands after the end of the game and you go through it again during a CODA episode. This dungeon is cool because of how the battles change the further you dive into it.
1 Recruit Every Character And See All Possible Outcomes
Thanks to the Warren Report and the Tarot system, Tactics Ogre: Reborn allows you to go back to various points throughout the story and replay them with different decisions, seeing what could have played out if you had done things differently. Not only is this a great opportunity to see just how much the game changes, but it also allows you to recruit characters you otherwise missed.
When you take a look at a guide telling just how many characters you can get, you will be amazed at how your actions impact who ends up in your party. Many of them die otherwise and pass you by without you realizing they can become trusted allies.
