Defeat Barga Gor, and you’ll receive Guardians’ Grace, a powerful chestplate with decent pierce, blunt, blade, and thrust resistance that also multiplies the wearer’s bleed-out time by ten. 7 Call Of The Forest: Luck’s On Your Side

Call of the Forest is a powerful helm created by the Morhir Mages before the great exodus. To obtain it, you’ll first need to find its three parts scattered throughout the world and have them reforged by Isgrimm. The magic that lies within this helmet is rumored to bestow the wearer with good luck and safeguard them during battle.

What does that mean from a gameplay perspective? Increased health, focus, and health regen with reduced spell cooldowns and immunity to critical hits, interruption, and all negative status effects. As if that weren’t enough, Call of the Forest is the only known helmet to provide an increase to your character’s sight range.

6 Titan's Armor of Regeneration: Healing Is Believing

Found by looting random chests, helping Clara Farlorn during The Refugee's quest, or purchasing directly from Berghol the Bodacious or the Everlight blacksmith with rank three bartering, the Titan’s Armor of Regeneration is one of the best armors for heavy fighters.

Its power stems from an enchantment that slowly heals the wearer’s wounds, regenerating ten HP every second when out of combat. This is further complemented by a significant boost to your character’s pierce, blunt, blade, and thrust resistances and a nominal increase to their fire, ice, black, and white resistances.

5 Berserker Armor: Feed On Your Foes

The Berserker Armor takes a slightly different approach to health recovery than many of the other entries on this list by allowing you to leech 50 percent health from any damage inflicted by enemy attacks. However, the benefits don’t stop there as this chestplate will also increase your attack speed by 30 percent.

The potency of its effects is quite surprising when you consider the armor was created by orcs struggling to survive. Following the discovery of magic, the Berserker Armor was one of the very first artifacts to be enchanted. Finding it requires you to encounter Zor'Gar at the Foot of Barga Gor while having his brother Rol'Gar's skull in your inventory.

4 Hexing Armor: I Put A Spell On You

Obtainable by looting rare chests or acquiring from traders, the Hexing Armor was created by Isamo Tahar’s allies to discourage the Nortander forces from engaging in battle. The driving force behind this armor’s power comes from its curse-inducing effects which cast a wicked spell on anyone who tries to kill the wearer.

3 Pride Of Nortander: Legendary Armor Through The Ages

It would seem the Nortanders have a trick or two up their sleeves when it comes to forging powerful armor, evident by the legendary Pride of Nortander chestpiece. Rumored to have appeared in every important battle throughout the land’s history, it signifies a time of change in the face of war.

Of course, that wouldn’t mean much if the armor wasn’t actually useful out on the battlefield. Thankfully, the Pride of Nortander is no slouch, boasting an impressive 45 pierce, blunt, blade, and thrust resistance along with the ability to continually regain health at a rate of five health points every second.

2 Gift Of The Giants: A Force To Be Reckoned With

To receive the Gift of the Giants, you’ll need to make your way to the shrine located northeast of Everlight while carrying the Decorative Armor and Decorative Sword. Doing so will summon a chest housing one of the best armor pieces in the game.

Created by the blacksmith of the giants’ backs, it features all the properties of giant armors while being resized to fit humans, orcs, and elves. As such, its special effects are fairly straightforward: a small increase in focus points, a significant increase in HP, and 50 resistance to pierce, blunt, blade, and thrust damage.

1 Mastercrafted Windwall Armor: Isgrimm’s Pride And Joy

Obtaining the Mastercrafted Windwall Armor is no small task in Spellforce 3: Reforced, requiring you to gather a laundry list of rare metals and armor pieces to help Isgrimm build the most formidable dwarven armor ever fathomed. For all your hard work, the scholarly stone shaper will reward you with a Mastercrafted chestplate and helmet.

With it equipped, you should have no problem tackling any challenge that comes your way, as it provides an increased 45 resistance to every damage type in the game. As if that weren’t enough, the Mastercrafted Windwall Armor also grants the wearer an additional ten focus points, 50 HP, and continual health regeneration.
