PostsThe Aberdeens are a peculiar bunch in Red Dead Redemption 2, and you should be cautious when dealing with them. Here is a list of everything you need to know about the Aberdeen Pig Farm in Red Dead Redemption 2.
14 It's Not Really A Pig Farm Anymore
The first thing everyone should know about the Aberdeen Pig Farm is that it's not a great place to find pigs. That is to say that the pigs are long gone, and the Aberdeens aren't really in the business of raising piggies anymore.
If you're hunting perfect pig pelts for some merchandise at the trapper, your time is better spent elsewhere.
13 Even If You Let Them Live, They Leave
Most players probably take their vengeance on the Aberdeens one way or the other, whether it be killing both siblings right off or killing the brother and leaving the sister tied up in the mass grave. However, if you decide to let bygones be bygones (not sure why you would in this situation), they'll actually be long gone by the time the Epilogue comes around.
If you go to visit the Aberdeens as John Marston, there won't be an Aberdeen in sight—so it's recommended you pay them a house call as Arthur Morgan.
12 The Aberdeens Are Based On Real People
Possibly the most frightening aspect of the Aberdeen siblings is that they are, in fact, based on a real family of serial killers known as the Bloody Benders who ran a bed and breakfast in Kansas. The Benders were believed to ambush their guests with a hammer blow to the head and a slit throat, and then they would strip the bodies of all belongings and bury the victims in an orchard.
The real Benders were a full family of killers, parents included. It's unknown if the Aberdeen parents were killers too, but Bray and Tammy certainly are. John Bender Jr. and Kate Bender were the real-world counterparts to Bray and Tammy. John Jr. and Kate were also believed to be in an incestuous relationship, though there is some contention there.
11 It's Implied But Not Confirmed That The Aberdeens Are Cannibals
There is some confusion as to whether the Aberdeens eat their victims. There is some circumstantial evidence for this (parts of which will be discussed later in the list). That said, cannibal hillbillies are a horror trope that might just have been applied to the Aberdeens since they have just about every other quality associated with the cannibal hillbilly type.
There is no clear evidence that they've eaten anyone, and, given RDR2 has been out for a while at this point, it's unlikely that any will be discovered unless something is added to the online component.
10 Where To Find The Aberdeen Pig Farm
Before dealing with the Aberdeen family, you need to find them first. Aberdeen Pig Farm is located southeast of Emerald Station and Emerald Ranch. It's right on the border of Lemoyne and New Hanover.
Once you approach the area, the Aberdeen Pig Farm will feature a two-story house that you can visit. Once you arrive at the house, you will be greeted by the Aberdeen family, which consists of brother and sister Bray and Tammy Aberdeen. You can even find the Aberdeens in Red Dead Online as the oddest pair of quest givers you've ever seen.
9 What Happens When You Enter The Aberdeen Home
When you arrive at the Aberdeen house, the Aberdeens will offer you dinner and drinks. This is where things get weird from here on out. Before you can have dinner, explore the house for a little bit, and then dinner will be ready. Dinner is where things will start to get weirder. If you change your mind about having dinner with the Aberdeens, you have the choice to refuse their dinner and drinks and leave.
But if you decide to stay to find out more about the Aberdeens, then you should accept their dinner and drink offers. The drinks are the real thing to watch out for, as the Aberdeens will continually offer more for you to sip. By the time you get to your third shot, you will pass out and the Aberdeens will rob you of your money and throw you out.
8 How To Get Your Money Back From The Aberdeens
After passing out and being thrown out, you will wake up in a dumping ground for corpses. Upon waking up, simply sneak your way back to the Aberdeen household to look for your money.

6 The Aberdeen Siblings Are...Close
Outside of the initial encounter, there are details about the Aberdeen family that are made apparent, or you can uncover by yourself. Upon meeting the Aberdeen siblings, you will immediately notice that they like to cuddle with each other quite frequently. This is because they are an incestuous couple.
Bray and Tammy Aberdeen love each other like husband and wife rather than brother and sister. And they do not hide this disturbing fact in your interactions with them.
5 They Love To Remember Their Mother
If you inspect the Aberdeen house before or after your initial encounter with them, you can find some interesting details. One directly relates to their mother. If you go upstairs, you will find this cupboard located next to the stairs. If you open the cupboard, you will find the bones of the Aberdeens' mother inside.
You can ask Tammy and Bray Aberdeen about it before your supper with them. If you ask Tammy and Bray about the bones, they will say they wanted to keep their mother around instead of burying her.
