Blade's role is that of a Seeker, which counters the Breaker role and has an advantage when attacking and defending against them. Use Blade to deal increased Damage when attacking Breakers and utilize his excellent dodging skills to avoid AOE damage. Choosing the right upgrades and gear will allow you to maximize Blade's effectiveness in battle.

Character Upgrades

As characters rank up, they gain access to powerful Skills, Passives, and Reaction abilities that will define their playstyle and power scaling. Choosing the right selections at Ranks One, Three, Five, Seven, and Nine will combine to make Blade a strong member of your team.

Your weapons and Tarot Whispers offer skills that improve Blade's many stats and abilities depending on which items are equipped.

Blade will be attacking from behind a lot, thanks to the Rank 7 skill in our build, Traceless Shadow. To best capitalize on Traceless Shadow procs, equip weapons that boost Critical Damage when attacking from behind.

Ceremonial Knife

Skill: Increases Critical Damage by 20 percent when attacking from the back of an enemy.

Void Stab

Skill: Increases Critical Damage by 15 percent. Gain stacks of Void. Each stack increases Critical Damage by five percent and can stack up to six times. The effects of Void last until the end of two turns.

Skill: When it's not Blade's turn, Damage Dealt Increases by 20 percent.

  • Increases Physical and Magic Attack.
  • Increases Magic and Physical Defense.
  • Increases Max HP.

Blade's Trait Blessed Arrow lets him attack when it isn't his turn. Blessed Arrow causes him to perform an Assisting Attack against all enemies within three tiles, dealing 15 percent Physical Damage and dispelling one Buff.

Destruction of the Tower will increase this damage by an additional 20 percent on top of the base 15, making Blade's Assisting Attack ability that much stronger.

Cooling Powder

Skill: Blade gains immunity to anti-healing debuffs.

  • Increases Physical and Magic Attack.
  • Increases Magic and Physical Defense.
