  • How To Get Leather

To survive in Sunkenland, you must take action. Rather than remaining confined to your tent and passively waiting for things to unfold, going out, exploring, creating, and initiating your evolution in the wilderness is essential. However, while doing this, remember that you are not alone and you have raving enemies.

Leather is one of the raw materials and is used as the primary material in the production of many items, such as military backpacks, armor, and helmets. Although it is a bit difficult to find, it can be easily obtained with the right strategies. Let's examine how to get leather.

Sunkenland is an early-access game. Note that development is still ongoing, so things may change.

How To Get Leather

Leather can be obtained in several ways. The easiest and most guaranteed way to do this is to tear apart the leather couches on islands and submerged apartments. You can obtain an average of three pieces of leather from one couch. However, you may not always come across a leather couch, so you have to proceed by trial and error.

You can find a leather couch at Radio Island. Smashing it will get you the leather you are looking for. However, you first need to clear the enemies on the island.

Another way to find leather is by hunting hammerhead sharks. Doing this will provide you with the item you want. It is important to confront your prey with the right equipment. Otherwise, this would be a suicide mission.

To hunt Hammerhead Sharks, we recommend using a spear. We also do not recommend going too deep as you cannot stay under water for a long time due to the oxygen limit.

The last and perhaps most dangerous way is to raid the surrounding islands. Based on our experience, the most logical place here is Mutant Island, which can give you tons of items as well as leather.

Once you acquire the leather material, access your Inventory and utilize the crafting menu for Simple Crafting to create items with it.
