Stardew Valley - The 10 Quickest Ways To Reach A Million Gold

Stardew Valley is seen by many as a fun, relaxing game where you can farm, forage and make friends. However, Stardew Valley is incredibly re-playable, which is one of the draws of the game. The game naturally approaches the farm holistically through quests. You get a bit of farming, a splash of fishing, a chunk of mining, and a touch of exploring.

From visits to the Secret Woods to the importance of collecting Spring Onions, these tips will help you develop your Foraging skill in Stardew Valley.
PostsThere is no right or wrong way to play Stardew Valley. You can make money through multiple avenues and have an immensely successful farm. Instead of following the quests, focus in on one of these tricks if you want to give yourself a fast boost to your bank. These tips will provide you with a few different avenues for the best ways to make a million gold quickly.
10 Sow Seeds All Season
A farming-focused game means you’re spending nearly every moment farming. It will take a bit of time to build up, but this is the fastest way to make money. Plant the free parsnips your character is given, sell those, and spend all of your money on more seeds.
Do keep in mind that each seed has a certain amount of days it takes to harvest. You don’t want to buy and plant seeds close to a season change, or you might lose them.
Strawberries, Blueberries, and Cranberries are the three best seeds for this choice. Strawberries are high earners, and blueberry and cranberry plants keep producing more and more berries, giving you almost endless money without an extra outlay. You can plant these in the greenhouse and they'll stick around, but if not, you only get them for the quick season. Cranberries can be planted in the fall, Strawberries in the spring, and Blueberries in the summer.
9 Fishing For Fish, And Cooking Your Catches
Fishing is one of the easiest ways to earn money. If you’re going to go this route, an ocean or river farm would be a great asset. You can sell your fish daily, and it only gets easier with time. You can use cooking recipes to boost your fishing skills and catch more challenging fish.

PostsThere aren’t many fishing rod upgrades, so this is an easy and fun route! Plus, you can turn your low-earning fish into recipes (such as sashimi), for additional profit.
8 Make A Shed Of Crystalariums Creating Diamonds
This is your fastest way to a million, hands-down. Diamonds sell for 750g. If you buy a shed, and fill it with Crystalariums, you’ll be making money incredibly quickly.
If this is the track you’re interested in, focus on mining. You can get the recipe in level 9 of the mines; from there, you want to make as many as possible. The only thing holding you back is that you need batteries to create Crystalariums. However, most of the ingredients for that you can get through mining as well, so it’s a win-win.
7 Build A Honey Farm With Different Flowers
A honey farm is a very low-effort way to make money. You can make a bee house using wood, coal, iron, and maple syrup. It will produce honey every four days, which means once you build it, it’s easy money.

From Blue Jazz Honey to Sunflower Honey, we've ranked every honey flavor in Stardew Valley based on the potential profit it can earn the player.
PostsYou can also plant flowers near Bee Houses to make different types of honey, which will earn you a higher profit. Fairy rose honey is the highest earner at 680g each. Please note that bee houses will not create honey indoors or during winter.
6 Coffee Seeds, Kegs, And Triple Espresso Recipe
This one is a tad more complicated, but you can plant coffee beans to create coffee plants. If you have this indoors, it will continue to create coffee beans even in the winter. You can put coffee beans in kegs, and then sell the coffee. For extra money, you can also cook the Triple Shot Espresso recipe, which is created from three coffees.
This does seem like a lot of effort, but Kegs can create coffee rather quickly, and coffee plants can create coffee beans every two days.
5 Buy As Many Pigs As You Can And Sell Truffle Oil
If you’re into animals, becoming a Pig farmer is a fun route. It might take a little while to get there since you need a deluxe barn, but pigs are extremely profitable as they create Truffles.
It is important to note that pigs stay inside the barn during winter, and don’t make any truffles. You’ll have to plan ahead!
A perfect truffle sells for 1250g. If you have less then perfect truffles, they sell for between 625g and 937g. You can also create truffle oil by putting the truffle into the oil maker, which sells for 1,065.4 Fulfill Every Single Help Wanted Ad
There are daily help wanted ads where you can fish, collect ores, slay monsters, or deliver something to someone. This is an easy way to make extra money and also increase your friendship with villagers.
Some are only worth 100g, but others are worth 1,000g! If you have free time that day, grab a help wanted ad for extra money.
3 Create Fish Ponds And Produce Caviar
CloseFishing ponds are a lot of fun, and a great way to make money. You can fill your fishing ponds with sturgeon, which give you sturgeon row. When you add that to a preserves jar, you’re given caviar, which is worth 500g each.
If you choose to be an Artisan, this price will increase to 700g. If you're going this route, I’d invest in at least ten fishing ponds. This way, you’ll be making 5000g every day.
2 Mine For Iridium To Create Iridium Bars
If mining is your favorite thing to do in Stardew Valley, you could lean into selling iridium bars. You can make these by putting iridium ores and coal into a furnace. Iridium bars sell for 1000g a piece, and if you choose the blacksmith route, 1500g a piece.
You can have unlimited furnaces, so if you’re willing to grind for iridium, this is a fun and easy route. Don’t forget, you can buy coal from Clint if you need it.
1 Build Bridges And Upgrade Tools For Endless foraging
CloseForaging is a great way to make money. There are even seasonal fruits such as Salmonberries and blackberries that can be very financially rewarding! If this is the route you’re going to go, you should build the beach bridge as quickly as possible. There are tons of opportunities to forage on the other side.
It would be best to upgrade your axe to break the tree stump marking the entrance to the secret woods (which is in the top corner of the Cindersap forest).
