While there are too many fantastic cards in the Pokemon TCG to enumerate, some of its Legendary Pokemon feature a combination of the most spectacular colors and gorgeous compositions of any card. When it comes to Legendary Dragon-type Pokemon, many come to mind as good examples of Pokemon with valuable card rosters, like Latios.

PostsReshiram is another example of a great Pokemon that features stunning designs for its most valuable cards; however, many of the choices feature repeated designs in different styles. Given that many of the best Reshiram cards feature identical designs, only the most expensive cards appear, with a single repeated design.
Cards are ordered according to their TCGPlayer Market Price, which you might pay on average for a copy of the cards below.
However, sale prices differ depending on the card's condition, so this market price is just a rough idea of the card's value.
5 Reshiram & Zekrom GX: Cosmic Eclipse (Secret Rare) – $60.21
Embrace The Rainbow
Reshiram wouldn't be where it is today without some help from its friend – and by friend, we mean its antithesis. Zekrom, the yin to Reshiram's yang, joins the Fire and Dragon-type Pokemon along with their trainer, N, in this stunning Rainbow Secret Rare from Cosmic Eclipse.
Unfortunately, unlike some of the best Rainbow Secret Rares from Sun & Moon, Reshiram and Zekrom's shared scene with N is incredibly detailed, making the rainbow recolor more of a distraction than an enhancement.
Since Cosmic Eclipse is a modern set, these cards are typically still found in good condition, often available in lightly played (LP) or near-mint (NM) condition. LP sales register close to the $50 plateau, while you can expect to pay a premium for NM copies, to the tune of $60, or more for the nicest cards.
4 Reshiram EX: Next Destinies (Full Art) – $77.48
A Vivid, Fiery Scene
Next Destinies is a set highlighted primarily by the three characters from the previous entry: N, Zekrom, and, of course, Reshiram. However, this fantastic full art gives Reshiram the entire spotlight to itself, as the explosive fire behind it provides the perfect epic background for this Pokemon's regal white coat to shine.

Joltik has some shockingly nice TCG art.
PostsAs an older set from the Black & White era, Next Destinies cards have seen some wear and tear with time, as you'll find the full spectrum of conditions available. Heavily Played (HP) cards can sell for about $20, with moderately played (MP) cards hovering around a similar value. LP shoots up to the $45 mark, whereas NM copies explode into the $75 range.
3 Reshiram & Zekrom GX: Cosmic Eclipse (Full Art) – $102.12
An Epic Moment In Its Full Glory
It's no surprise that one of the best cards from Cosmic Eclipse stakes its claim among the best Reshiram cards, with the trio that started us off returning for an encore in their full art version. The collection of vibrant colors deserves to shine through in their original glory, as the scene's epic quality is obvious.
Unlike the Rainbow Secret Rare, this version's details are more easily discernible.
Unfortunately, this card lost a significant portion of its value, as it once traded at over $115 in 2023, but 2024 has seen this card collapse to a new range around the $100 mark, finding itself as low as $93. However, this card is trending upward and may continue its run in the triple digits.
2 Reshiram: Legendary Treasures (Full Art Secret Rare) – $103.87
Lost In The Gold
While we wait to see if Reshiram & Zekrom GX can get their act together, we turn our attention to the blindingly golden version of Reshiram from Legendary Treasures. This stunning card's divisive design makes it difficult to fully appreciate the Pokemon, as Reshiram can get lost in the monochromatic color scheme.
This Reshiram is incredibly hard to find in good condition, with damaged copies starting at around $33. MP cards typically sell for $41 and LP copies can jump as high as $75, with a single recent NM sale exceeding the $100 plateau to the tune of $103.85. Given how hard it is to enjoy this card's depiction of Reshiram, it's shocking that it commands so much value.
1 Reshiram & Charizard GX: Unbroken Bonds (Secret Rare) – $130.35
The Top Dogs Unite
Reshiram and Charizard combine on the most valuable Reshiram card ever, as this gem from Unbroken Bonds is also one of the most expensive cards in that set. Unlike the Rainbow Secret Rare that started us off, this card's design is much more conducive to the rainbow color palette, as Reshiram and Charizard's original palettes are fairly simple.
You'll find damaged copies of this card for as little as $29, while perfect NM cards will cost closer to $125. If you want a decent copy but aren't thrilled at the idea of spending over $100, you can find MP cards closer to $90, though LP jumps into the $105 range.
