Tapu Bulu, the Generation Seven Legendary Pokemon, can exclusively be caught in Pokemon Go through this feature, requiring you to defeat it in its specific Five-Star Raid. Being a Legendary Pokemon, you will need to go into this Raid adequately prepared, so we have put together a guide to help you with just that.
Recommended Group Size
Being a Five-Star Raid, make sure you aren't attempting to defeat Tapu Bulu in the Raid on your own,as you will lack to sufficient damage and firepower to defeat it within the time constraints of the Raid. For this reason, it's best to coordinate and group up with other players, either in-person or remotely before starting this Raid.
This will prove to be a relatively easy task, as this specific Raid does not require the participation of many players to successfully complete. To comfortably make sure you defeat Tapu Bulu, go into this Raid with a group of at least three to five experienced players.
If you think that your Raid group is lacking when it comes to damage output, it may be a good idea to eitherMega Evolve or Primal Revert one of your Pokemon.

Due to its Grass and Fairy dual-typing, Tapu Bulu has a double-resistance to this type of attack, dealing a minimal amount of damage against this specific opponent.
Due to the strength of Tapu Bulu, it's important that you're deciding which Pokemon to use based on this Pokemon's vulnerabilities. This includes a standard weakness to Flying, Steel, Fire, and Ice-type attacks and a double-weakness to Poison-type attacks.

For this Raid, the highest-rated counter picks will mainly be Poison-type Pokemon, as they have access to powerful attacks of this type. Due to Tapu Bulu's double-weakness to this specific attack type, these Pokemon prove to be the top performers when it comes to this Raid.
Additionally, due to Same Type Attack Bonus, Poison-type Pokemon will receive an increase in their attack damage when using Poison-type attacks, further increasing your overall effectiveness in this Raid battle.
