Elite Raids are back in Pokemon Go after a brief hiatus, difficult, limited-time Raids that can only be completed in-person. With the return of this feature comes the debut of a brand-new Elite Raid Pokemon, Incarnate Forme Enamorus, available in Pokemon Go for the first time ever.

Posts 1Being an Elite Raid Pokemon, Enamorus will be a difficult Legendary Pokemon to defeat in battle, being a very powerful Fairy and Flying dual-type Pokemon. With Incarnate Forme Enamorus only being available for a limited time, we have put together a guide with everything you need to know to defeat this Pokemon during its Elite Raid Day.
Elite Raid Day Information
Your first opportunity to battle and catch Incarnate Forme Enamorus will come with its own Elite Raid Day, taking place on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. During this day, there will be four different times that Incarnate Forme Enamorus's Raids will be available, including:
- 12pm Local Time
- 1pm Local Time
- 5pm Local Time
- 6pm Local Time
The Raid Eggs for these Elite Raids will appear 24 hours prior to the start of each Raid.
This will give you the opportunity to see which Pokemon Gyms will host these Raids ahead of time.
As mentioned above, you will not be able to participate in these Raids remotely, meaning that you will need to group up with other Trainers in-person to take on and complete them. With Incarnate Forme Enamorus's Elite Raids only being available for one day, make arrangements to attempt these Raids with other Trainers beforehand if possible.
After the successful completion of each Incarnate Forme Enamorus Elite Raid, specific Fairy and Flying-type Pokemon will begin spawning around the Pokemon Gym for 30 minutes as a completion bonus. Each of these ten Pokemon can be found below.
Completion Bonus Pokemon
Clefairy
Jigglypuff
Taillow
Emolga
Snubbull
Woobat
Ruffley
Spritzee
Swirlix
Fletchling
Recommended Group Size
Elite Raids tend to be difficult compared to Raids of other tiers, and this remains true for Incarnate Forme Enamorus's. For this Elite Raid, it is best to attempt it with at least four to six Trainers in your group, giving you and your allies a great chance of successfully completing it.
Again, the Trainers that you group up with will have to join you locally, so do your best to communicate with others beforehand to organize arrangements for these Elite Raids. Additionally, it is recommended that you group up with as many Trainers as possible due to the limited nature of these Raids, further guaranteeing your success and opportunity to catch Incarnate Forme Enamorus.
If you are concerned about the overall firepower of your Raid group, make sure to Mega Evolve or Primal Revert a Pokemon that you're battling with.
This will increase the damage of certain attack types in battle, for both you and your allies.

PostsEnamorus: Strengths And Weaknesses
You will want to take note of Enamorus's strengths and weaknesses before attempting this Elite Raid, allowing you to effectively craft a team of Pokemon that directly counters this Pokemon.
First addressing the attack types you will want to avoid, Enamorus is resistant to Bug, Dragon, Ground, Fighting, Grass, and Dark-type attacks due to its Flying and Fairy dual-typing. Avoid using Pokemon with attacks of these types because they will contribute very little to your team's overall damage output in this Raid.
Fortunately, there are five different attack types that Enamorus is weak against on the battlefield: Poison, Rock, Steel, Electric, and Ice. Using Pokemon with these attack types is essential to you and your allies' success, so make it a priority to put together a team utilizing them.
Enamorus: Best Counter Picks
As mentioned above, you will want to put together a team of Pokemon that directly counter Enamorus to use in these Elite Raid battles. In this case, this means using powerful Pokemon that use attacks that are super-effective against Enamorus, including Poison, Rock, Steel, Electric, and Ice-type attacks.
To further increase the damage that these Pokemon are dealing, use Pokemon that have attacks that match one of their types, activating the Same Type Attack Bonus mechanic. Same Type Attack Bonus, commonly known as STAB, will increase the damage of each attack that you use if it is used by a Pokemon of a matching type.
Below you find the top 25 Enamorus counters, including different Poison, Rock, Steel, Electric, and Ice-type options with their optimal attacks.
Use as many of these top-tier Enamorus encounters as possible, as these are the best options currently available in Pokemon Go.
That being said, this Elite Raid can still be completed with other Pokemon, just make sure they are also powerful Poison, Rock, Steel, Electric, or Ice-types.
