Fortnite: Chapter 5 Season 2 - All NPC Locations And Their Available Services
Chapter 5 Season 2 of Fortnite is here, and with it is a whole new group of NPCs to either recruit or purchase items from. Some of these NPCs we've seen before in the past, while a few are new to the game. Recruiting NPCs gives you and your squad the necessary backup in fights, while the items you buy from NPCs can mean the difference between elimination and victory.

What Are NPCs?
As you explore and discover everything that the new season brought to the game, we highly recommend checking out the NPCs as well. Though some of them are old friends, they may offer something new that they didn't in the past.
Every NPC comes with its own set of skills to help you and your squad, but there are two distinct categories of NPCs you'll find in Fortnite: Recruitable and Non-Recruitable.
There are four NPCs you can challenge for a duel to earn XP and Rare guns:
- Khari (Stealthy Spotter Warforged Assault Rifle and Eagle Eye Huntress DMR)
- Clara (Cover Fire Harbinger SMG and All Rounder Reaper Sniper Rifle)
- Jittershock (Close Quarters Gatekeeper Shotgun and All Rounder Nemesis AR)
- Etheria (Cover Fire Warforged Assault Rifle and Eagle Eye Huntress DMR)
Every Recruitable NPC Location And The Services They Provide
A recruitable NPC will become an extra teammate that fights alongside you. In a duo, trio, or squad match, they can also be sent to revive a teammate that's been knocked down.
Some of these NPCs also have other services that set them apart. Here are the different types of recruitable NPCs you'll find:
- Scout Specialist - Scouts the area and highlights treasure chests you can loot.
- Heavy Specialist - These NPCs bring the heat into the fight with a shotgun, and usually some type of explosives.
- Medic Specialist - Splashes you and your team with heals whenever someone takes damage.
- Supply Specialist - Drops different types of ammo randomly to help keep you and your squad from running out of bullets.

These NPCs sell various items, such as guns, heals, or movement items. Prices range from about 125 to 300 Gold Bars, depending on what it is.
While you aren't able to hire any of these to join your team, they can still provide valuable assistance to your match.
