PostsAs ever, this walkthrough will be as spoiler-free as possible, only providing the actions you need to take both in the investigation portions of the episode and the trial sections.
Investigation
Playing as Phoenix, you'll begin this episode at the Wright Anything Agency with Trucy. Talk to her if you want to, and then Move to the Cosmos Space Center Entrance to spot Cosmos - follow him then to the Boarding Lounge and Talk to Starbuck about everything - you'll end up prompted to examine the museum corridor - Examine the leaves to the left and the fingerprint machine on the right.
Move back to the Entrance, and you can finally Talk to Cosmos. Doing so, however, will reveal some Psyche Locks. Present the Magatama to tackle them:
- Suggest that his motive for moving the launch pads was to save the astronauts.
- The plan would have been impossible without Clay Terran.
- The culprit in this case was also involved in the HAT-1 Miracle.
- Cosmos thought that Simon Blackquill was the culprit.
After breaking the locks, Talk to him about everything. After finishing, Move to the Museum and Talk to Juniper there. To finish speaking with her, Present her with the HAT-1 Exhibit. You'll automatically head to the Detention Center and speak to Fulbright and Tonate.
Once you regain control, Move to the Robotics Lab. Talk to Aura about everything here, and you'll be moved to the Entrance automatically. Move to the Wright Anything Agency and you'll meet up with Pearl - Talk to her about everything. With that, you can now Move to the Detention Center to Talk with Blackquill and Fulbright.
Watch the scenes that follow, Talking about everything when prompted. When confronted with a choice, choose 'Retry it in court' to progress. You'll eventually find yourself back in the Robotics Lab.
Talk to Edgeworth about everything and then Examine the following:
- The workbench on the right.
- The massive robot.
- The charging station at the back.
- The hanging robot arm.
- The chair in the middle of the room.
- The desk on the left.
- The emergency ladder.
After examining all you need to, Edgeworth will talk to you. Finish Talking to him and then do the same with Athena back at the Detention Center.
Present Athena with the Robots with a Heart binder and then Talk to her about the past. With that, you'll move on to the final trial of the game.

- To prove which robot the arm belonged to, Present the HAT-1 Exhibit.
- Assert that Blackquill was dismantling Ponco.
Cross-Examination: What I Saw

- Present the Photo of the Crime at the second statement: "...Ponco attacked me! I retaliated by cutting it into pieces."
- Probe Athena at the second statement: "I saw it! That terrible scene!"
This is functionally the end of any cross-examinations for now, but there's still the matter of Athena's innocence to deal with.
Proving Athena Innocent
- The problem with Athena's confession is the Katana.
- Assert that the defendant used a different weapon.
- The other blade found at the crime scene was the Utility Knife.
- When asked to show a pattern or design, Present the Robots with a Heart binder.
- Someone else could have taken the utility knife.
- They fooled the facial recognition by hiding their face.
- The culprit posed asMetis Cykes.
- The culprit used her jacket to do this.
- Athena stabbed the real culprit.
- The Seven-Year-Old Video can help find the person who came to the lab.
- Assert that the killer brought the jacket back.
- Assert that they brought it back when the body was found.
After this sequence of events, there will be a break before the final sequence of testimonies.
Cross-Examination: Apollo Justice's Accusation
- Press all four statements.
- Assert that there is an alternate escape route.
- Point at the Space Museum Corridor.
- Suggest that the culprit could have also gone to an area outside the Space Center, such as the launch site.
- Present the Emergency Ladder as proof.
- To prove the possibility of who could have used the alternative escape route, Present the Phantom's Psych Profile.
- Present Bobby Fulbright'sprofile.
Cross-Examination: The Embodiment Of Justice
Close- Press the second statement: "I won't have you make me into a villain with your far-fetched arguments!"
- Ask about the number of prints.
- Present Aura's Statement at the new statement: "Three prints were on the lighter: the thumb, index, and the middle fingers of a right hand!"
- When perceiving Fulbright with Apollo's bracelet, Perceive his twitching thumb on his left hand at the start of the sentence: "The Earth emblem."
- Examine the Earth Emblem on the lighter.
- Suggest that the owner of the prints may be wrong.
- During the first Mood Matrix segment, just progress through each statement, Pinpointing nothing.
- During the second Mood Matrix segment, Pinpoint the Sadness at the third statement: "How dare you accuse me of being someone who would kill over a moon rock?!"
- State that he's scared because his identity will be revealed.
Cross-Examination: My Fear Of The Moon Rock
Close- Present the Utlity Knife at the third statement: "What reason would the phantom have to be afraid of the moon rock?! None at all!"
- Assert that the phantom made the moon rock disappear using the "Hope" Capsule.
- To prove the phantom's identity, Present the Phony Phanty Bomb.
- Point at the rock on the left with black and yellow stripes.
- To prove that the original moon rock isn't all gone, Present the Moon Rock Earring.
Congratulations, that's the end of Dual Destinies! From here, you can proceed to the optional special case or move on to Spirit of Justice!
