Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Blaze Up Event Guide

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's third season is continuing its double XP week with a new event called Blaze Up. Players can complete challenges across all of MW3's main playlists—Multiplayer, MWZ, and Warzone—to earn some event-themed cosmetics and XP boosters.

Unlock the JAK Jawbreaker Kit for the KV Broadside by completing at least five of this week's challenges.

The event itself is quite similar to Cryptid Bootcamp and the Santa's Slayground events from past seasons. You'll need to complete challenges in your favorite game type to unlock these rewards. A Warzone event is running alongside Blaze Up, so consider playing the limited-time Resurgence variant to get some of these challenges done quickly. Regardless of your favorite mode, let's quickly explain how this event works and showcase every reward tied to this temporary event.

What Is The Blaze Up Event?

Blaze Up is an event that runs from April 10 to April 24. This event has 11 unique challenges that may be completed in core Multiplayer, Modern Warfare Zombies, or Warzone. You only need to complete one of the listed challenges to receive your reward; you don't need to complete all three.

You can view your active event progress under the "Challenges" tab of the main menu. Select the "Events" tab to preview all of this event's rewards and their respective challenges. Since you can play Warzone to complete these challenges, every CoD player can participate in this event.

All Event Challenges And Rewards

There are 11 rewards up for grabs during the Blaze Up event, most of which are weapon cosmetics and emblems. You can also earn boosters throughout this event that increase your XP, weapon XP, and battle pass XP earnings for an hour. Remember: you only need to complete one of the three listed challenges.

Should you earn every reward, you'll unlock the Daymares weapon blueprint for the WSP Swarm. The weapon itself has a lime-green finish that periodically glows. This only affects the weapon blueprint itself; it's not a camo. All event rewards and their challenge requirements may be found in the table below.

Get 25 clean kills with any akimbo weapon.

Kill 50 Hellhounds with shotguns.

Open 20 loot caches in a single Resurgence match on Rebirth Island.

Hot Out the Oven - Weapon Sticker

Get 10 quickscope kills with Stalker Boots equipped.

Get 80 critical kills with snipers, marksman rifles, or battle rifles.

Activate the boat horn near the factory on Rebirth Island.

Weedson - Wheelson Skin

Get 20 direct impact launcher kills.

Get 50 Brain Rot zombie kills.

Collect 50 gummies in High Trip Resurgence.

High As Duck - Weapon Charm

While you have Tac Mask equipped, hit 20 operators with Tear Gas.

Complete 4 Contracts.

Complete 5 Spy Drone Contracts.

Seeing Sound - Weapon Sticker

Use Stim or Battle Rage 15 times.

Destroy 4 vehicles.

During infil or redeployment, land in the gondola using the parachute on Rebirth Island.

Utterly Inspiring - Emblem (Animated)

Kill 4 enemies within 20 seconds without dying 2 times.

Get 400 kills with a wall buy weapon.

In High Trip Resurgence, kill 8 players while affected by a power-up gummy.

Bro, You're Out Of This World - Calling Card (Animated)

While using the Demolition Vest, stick 10 operators with Semtex or Thermite.

Destroy 3 Harvester Orbs.

In High Trip Resurgence, have all four power-up gummies active at once.

Double Weapon XP Token - One Hour

Get 20 kills while in Smoke while the JAK Purifier attachment is equipped.

With Speed Cola active, get 200 kills shortly after reloading.

Use squad rage on all of your squadmates at least once.

Every Second An Hour - Large Decal

While using the Engineer Vest, use the Inflatable Decoy Field Upgrade 15 times.

Get 30 mercenary critical kills.

In Resurgence, buy 4 players back into the match using a Buy Station.

Battle Pass Tier Skip - One Tier

Kill 25 enemies with a cooked Frag Grenade or Thermobaric Grenade.

Get 250 kills while affected by Stamin-Up.

Reduce the Resurgence timer for a total of 100 seconds.

Double Battle Pass XP Token - One Hour

While sliding or crouching, get 40 kills with any shotgun using the Dragon's Breath attachment.

Kill 3 Abominations.

In a single match, trade 2 cards from Biometric Scanners at a Buy Station.
