Rise Kujikawa returned to Inaba pretty early into Persona 4 Golden in search of some quiet time away from the spotlight of being a rising J-Pop idol. But after she fails to shake the celebrity even in her small hometown, a television spot lands her with her own dungeon inside P4G’s Midnight Channel.
RELATED: Persona 4 Golden: Achievement/Trophy Guide
Confronting how she feels more like property than person, the Marukyu Striptease is all about helping Risette embrace the duality of stardom and real life. We’ve got all the information you’ll need below, including on the shadows, Personas, and mini-bosses, to get through the Marukyu Striptease in Persona 4 Golden.
We try to stick to the combat, but our guide may still contain some spoilers for the storyline of Persona 4 Golden.
Things To Know Before Going Into Marukyu Striptease
The Marukyu Striptease dungeon will unlock on 6/25, after Rise appears to go missing the day before.
To get into the dungeon, you’ll need to ask around town to learn a bit about Rise. There are three people to speak to on 6/24.
- Hardcore Risette Fan at school, at the Yasogami Practice Building, 2F
- Rise’s Grandmother at their shop, Marukyu Tofu, in the South Shopping District
- The Kind Man by the trees at the Samegawa Flood Plain
Your final stop before going to the TV World is once again at Samegawa Flood Plain on 6/25. Talk to the photographer there and offer to “trade information,” continuing the conversation until the game tells you that you’ve got enough to find Rise inside the TV.
Tell this information to Teddie and head to the Marukyu Striptease, Rise's dungeon, when you’re ready.
Recommended Party Setup For Rise's Dungeon
This is one of the first times in Persona 4 Golden where you'll have the chance to switch your party setup if you'd like, now that Kanji has been recruited to the team as well.

Be sure to work on your teammate's Bike Skills, as this is how you'll learn some incredibly powerful moves your teammates can't learn naturally.
It's around this point in the game where Chie transitions into more of a physical fighter. However, right now, she's still got the most helpful ice skills, but not for much longer, once Teddie joins the fray after Rise's dungeon.
With both Yosuke and Kanji having good physical skills, too, weigh out who you'd like to bring and leave one of the three behind - Yukiko is too good a healer not to bring.
Recommended Level For Rise's Dungeon
By the time you arrive at Marukyu Striptease, you and the party should be around Lv. 35 or so for a comfortable time fighting the shadows inside.
Before going into the boss fight, try to be closer to Lv. 40, as the boss fight is against not one but two shadows in this dungeon.

Rise's Dungeon Walkthrough
With Persona 4 Golden following a randomized dungeon format, there’s no surefire way for us to guide you through each floor. However, that doesn't mean we can't give you a heads-up about what's ahead in Rise's dungeon.
As before, the goal is always to find the staircase that leads up to the next level of the dungeon, carrying on in this fashion until you reach pre-set floors that trigger plot progression.
That will usually involve a boss fight. We’ve got full guides for Shadow Rise and Shadow Teddie, so check them out for more information on the fights in Marukyu Striptease!
Marukyu Striptease 7F – Amorous Snake Mini-Boss Fight
On the seventh floor of the Striptease dungeon is where you’ll find your first mini-boss, Amorous Snake.
Riseturns out the lights when you get to the seventh floor, making it difficult to see shadows from afar and forcing you to rely on the mini-map.
You’ll need to be prepared to fight but try to avoid them to save your HP and SP for the mini-boss fight in Marukyu Striptease.
There’s a door nearby that Rise will prevent you from using. These are the stairs to the next floor, but you’ve got a mini-boss to fight before you can go up.
Navigate through the hallways toward the interior of the floor to find Amorous Snake.
We have a guide to defeating Amorous Snake if you need some help in the mini-boss fight in Rise's Dungeon.
Return to the blocked door from before once you've defeated Amorous Snake to carry on through the dungeon.
Marukyu Striptease 11F – Shadow Rise And Shadow Teddie
The final floor of Persona 4 Golden's Rise dungeon is the eleventh floor, where you’ll fight Shadow Rise and, immediately after her, Shadow Teddie.
With two fights ahead, it’s more important than before to be sure your party is healed before you go into the fight.
Marukyu Striptease 11F is also where you fight Momentary Child, should you choose to go back into Rise's dungeon after beating it.
